You honestly expected better? This team was shooting nothing but threes from 2 minutes into the 4th quarter, and weren't coming close on even the wide-open ones.

It's fitting that they lost with a missed 3pt attempt.

    Crappy game.

On the bright side, last year's team would have lost 7-10 of this type of game.

    Not too bright...nevermind.

Are you f*ckin' kiddin' me? Yao gives them another option WHEN they are missing. He gives them additional defence. They shouldn't lose to this team regardless, but it's stupid to think Yao wouldn't have changed the outcome.

    Terrible loss, TMac did not get enough touches in fouth quarter;
nobody was as willing as Yao have been coming out to set picks for Tmac.

    Poor outside shooing.

I still can't believe you HONESTLY think that is the reason why we lost.

Cockiness, lack or respect for the 'lesser' teams, old team that has just come back from a roadtrip and wanting to take an extra night off, all these are the reasons why.

    Not Yao.

It's not like the hornets shot the lights out(30% an 15 from beyond the Arch)but it was our wayward shooting that eventually was the deciding factor.

If someone were to tell me Clarence Weatherspoon would give us 14 points and 10 rebounds I'd never believe we could possibly lose.

I did too... but he was probably thinking that they were gonna send everybody at him (like they were doing the entire 4th quarter), and somebody would be open.

He had a very bad game as well... everybody did.

I can't believe you don't think that was a factor.

I have no idea why the Rockets like to jack up 3's all game instead of taking it to the basket. JVG will surely give them a tongue lashing to end all tongue lashings after this "effort".

    What did I say? Pathetic.

Griz started out an 4 game losing streak after last week's loss the NO. Folks, dont think we will win Sunday's game with the way we are shooting right now. We need to shoot above 50% to win that game. Warrios is on a roll and gave us handful even when B.Diddy and J.Rich not playing well last time. Laker still has Kobe and their freaking 3s might just fall against us. Then you look at games against playoff desperates and phoenix seattle for seeding. Man honestly I dont feel good right now.

I didn't say that having Yao wouldn't help, but I said that the Rockets did NOT need his help to close it out tonight. They just were lacking the mindset coming into the game to do so.

How many games have we lost to crappy teams with Yao in the lineup? It happens man, our players have just embarassed themselves tonight letting this game slip away.

I don't think Yao would have been the deciding factor in this game, we lost because we were sleep-walking.

Now I dont freaking beleive we would've lost this one had Yao played. The hornets were shooting 20% for most of the freaking game.

I can't watch the game but T-Mac should've taken the shot.....
It's good practice for the play-offs.....
He should be like Kobe, shoot a fade away three, who cares....
    Darn this is crap.

Griz started out an 4 game losing streak after the loss to NO. Think playoff first. I am worried.
