Look on the bright side: It could be worse. BOKI could have been the cause of this loss. Now that would hurt.

Exactly what I've been thinking. They've gotta be tanking. It's the only logical explanation. Yao suddenly has a calf injury. T-Mac goes ice cold. Wesley doesn't hit a shot. Barry and James can't buy a basket.

I think this team is trying to get Seattle in the first round. The problem is Denver is playing too well to assume that the 6th seed is wrapped up.

What are you talking about? If anyone should be tanking it should be the Hornets.

You don't think this would be a different game with Yao? I'd say that snowmt01 was right on. Who is the inside threat?

It obviously doesn't matter what JVG does... you honestly think he didn't tell them that they better not take New Orleans lightly? He even said on his radio show that they've yet to play well against them at all this year... and they probably should have lost the first game.

The team plays when they want to play... and they make shots when they want to make shots.

They'll do that whenever they're motivated, and playing against good teams, or playing on the road, does that to them.

Playing at home against bad teams = Rockets achilles heel this year.

Folks, forget the seeding. We have a very tough remaining schedule. Minny looks like can will the rest of their games. Griz and Denver can too. We might miss the playoff if let shiat happens. Warriors and Lakers are no joke at their home court, and who else we paly?

Well maybe they were, but the Rockets were tanking harder. I'm sorry, but there's no way they're THIS bad. I think they're trying to give a few games away to the inferior teams in order to draw Seattle.

    Lol this was horrible.

We didn't and don't have Yao and Howard so that makes a difference.

Everyone was off. Just a very very very bad night. We should have won we were winning we should have closed it out.

Worst team in the NBA. Oh well

We really were horrible couldnt' score at all..and defense was getting broken down.

    Oh well

    We just sucked.

He might have a point. when yao is in the low post he commands double teams, but without him being there, the opposition can double Tracy or any other shooter on the floor without really worrying about who we have in the low post. Hornets know we got no inside fire power, so they can afford to play our primeter shooters closely.
