Crazy thing is that if this was some craptown like Dallas or San Antonio or maybe a "prestigious" (meaning a team that can buy a championship eg, the Bird rules, Pau Gasol for nothing) team like Boston(crap town) or LA.....WTF"!!!!!! they're showing the Carolina Duke hilites again.....and they're having another roundtable discussion about it!!!! This is more important than 18 straight????? I hate the F'in media!!!!!

 

Why do you have to try and make this game sour??? Tmac was not trying to pad his stats...and if he was SO WHAT!!! IT WAS THE END OF THE GAME DUDE!!! Yeah you have the right to your opinion....and so do we!!!! YOU SUCK!!! WE JUST WON EIGHTEEN IN A ROW AND YOU WANT TO BASH A PLAYER THAT PLAYED 48MINUTES STRAIGHT!!!

The Jazz shot over 60% from the field and over 73% from three tonight.

I understand it was against the no-defense Nuggets but those stats are impressive no matter how you twist it.

 

Mac for MVP!!!!! Hopefully Rockets blow out the Nets so T-MaC could rest up after playing the whole game against NO

A great win. But hey, I am worried that we play Tracy whole 48 mins.

 

I knew Novak would have some playtime when Landry was out. 3/5 shootings for 8 points in 9 minutes is huge.

 

Funny thing is, only 1 of those Duke or Carolina players will make a good NBA player (Ty Lawson) the rest will go of the way of Bobby Hurley and JJ Reddick....

 

Yeah but it was much needed this game. Paul was crazy today. I'm sure coach will rest him tomorrow.

 

the ridiculous consistency we've shown during this streak is one thing, but the consistent dominance is just out of this world. this is not an ultra-talented team. talented, but nothing over the top. and they are just taking people out behind the woodshed night after night. paul was crazy and NO actually outshot us from 3 land (11-21 vs 14-34 for us) and we still won fairly comfortably.

i mean you look at the 6 other 18+ win streaks in history and you're talking about the lakers with wilt, west, and goodrich, the bucks with kareem and the Big O, the kobe and shaq lakers, the jordan/pippen/rodman '96 bulls, the bird/mchale/parish celtics, and the reed/frazier/debusschere/bradley knicks. this is the mcgrady/alston/battier rockets. how the hell have they won 18 games in a row and just straight up dominated the last 9? and the last one we didn't dominate was the kings game where we were leading by 19 after the 3rd quarter and then just collapsed. but even that game was looking like a blowout. we just shut teams down and there may be no one better to run our yao-less offense than mcgrady when he's being aggressive. he drives, finds everyone who is open, shares it perfectly while still looking to score, and has been hitting shots and not turning it over.

yeah i wish i knew how to find out as well. i did happen to find the the sonics and suns hit 32 3's in a 152-149 2OT game a couple of season ago to set the regular season record for combined 3's so our 33 combined 3's with seattle in the '96 playoffs is still the overall record. and that was in regulation.
