Hornets are a really good team. They have the best Center/PF combo in the NBA. THey will kill us on the boards.

They have one the best point guards in the NBA who can penetrate any defense. They have great shooters in Pargo and Brown.

They are more athletic than us at every position with Desmond Mason, Chandler and West

They have quick explosive scorers coming off the bench with Bobby Jackson and Janero Pargo.

They play really hard and they are really well coached. They don't mind playing halfcourt. This is a clear playoff team, bu they have been decimated by injuries. They are finally healthy and they have a lot more talent than us without Yao.

If Tracy doesn't grab 12+ rebounds and shoot lights out, Hornets win

I am not trying to be a downer, just realistic. When healthy, the Hornets only trail Dallas, Phoenix, San Antonio, Houston, Miami, LA and Denver

Chandler/West the best Center/PF combo in the NBA? Not by a long shot. The Hornets do have some talent but they are certainly not among the elite in the west.

Perhaps not offensively, but definitely defensively.

There are no teams more intimidating to drive to the hoop against than the Hornets

Put me on the list of those very weary of this game. Paul is back and he torches us with his penetration. This team is much better than their record. Injuries have decimated them. The Rockets should win but they can't look at this team like another Portland, Philadelphia or Seattle. Lets hope they come out ready.

It's too easy but you didn't bother to type?

Duncan, Garnett, Nowitzki, Brand, Boozer are the top PF in the West That's it. West outplayed Garnett last night and he's close to Boozer and Brand. I just hope he doesn't show it tonight. He's certainly not one of the top offensive power forwrds, but his overall impact rivals Brand. He's averaging 17PPG 9RBG

Dwight Howard, Alonzo Morning, Marcus Camby.

I think Tyson is better than all of them defensively and rebounding/shotblicking, becasue he can devote all his energy on the defensive end

Do you ever watch Hornets games? David West does not stay in the paint, he's a jump shooter and he hardly ever blocks any shot, averaging only 0.6 for his career. Chandler blocks more shots but he sucks at defending the paint.

I am talking about traditional bangers that give us trouble not some fancy hybrids like Marion. I am talking about more than stats. I am talking defensive rotations, fierceness.

4 power forwards: Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, Shawn Marion, Dirk Nowitzki, Carlos Boozer, Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol, Kenyon Martin, Zach Randolph, Al Harrington, Chris Wilcox, Elton Brand, there I named 12.

Ok 3 rebounders/shot blockers and defenders better than Chandler, Yao Ming, Marcus Camby, Dwight Howard, Ben Wallace, Jermaine O'Neal, Chris Bosh.

rockets have had 3 other 4 game win streaks (stopped by spurs, suns, and dallas).

the only 5 game win streak for the rocks so far was stopped by minny.

losing tonight would be unusual to trend. winning the next game, provided this game is won, would be beating the odds.

I've just decided to give SopCast a try. I have downloaded the latest version of RealPlayer and the SopCat 1.1.1 for Windows, but keep receiving this message:

SopCast Adver has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Can any of you help me to resolve the problem? Thank you...

    BattiersBaby.

I meant centers. Most of those guys are power forwards and although they are all great, the tenacity of Tyson on the boards and his hustle exceeds all of them. Anyways, I was exaggerating a bit. However, defensively this is one of the better frontcourts

Jermaine, Dalembert, Wallace are all weak side defenders and shotblockers.

Tyson really shuts his man down, like he did with KG last night
