Seriously, how upsetting is it that Rafer means that much on offense

If we had a servicable backup, we might have won (and if we made shots)

Bonzi needs to learn to hit free throws

    VSpan is still bad.

We would have lost this game even if Rafer was there. Maybe he noticed that and looked for an early exit. The whole team played terrible.

This is just absurd. How many minutes he got? When he was put on court, JL3 was still used as the primary ball handler, he had a good pass to Padgett but the later could not deliver. Why are you so biased? Seriously, what else can we lose if you play Bill instead of JL3, lost the game anyway.

I will just say this: I really, really hope that the Rockets make an effort to acquire a somewhat dependable starting/backup PG for this team before the trade deadline. I am really worried that the front office/coaching staff don't fully understand the urgency of this and are -- as Dennis seemed to indicate in his radio interview -- content with 'standing pat' for the remainder of the season.

    Let's hope I am wrong...

No. Alston's departure distracted everybody else, whereas Mason is just a **** which is almost a nonfactor to Hornets.

Is T-Mac ok? I hope he isn't hurting physically.

For the record, I think both JLIII and VMac stink, and I really don't have a problem with VMac getting garbage minutes because of his attitude lately

Who knows, maybe JVG will slowly see that JLIII isn't getting the job done when asked to perform and give VMac a spot but Vmac isn't going at this the right way with his mouth, and again, VMac hasn't showed me anything to say he deserves minutes outside of garbage time

Let's us not assume we lost because Rafer was not there. We have been winning because TMac has been carrying the team on his back with his exceptional play. Tonight TMac had an off night and we lost. That is it.
Nothing to do with Rafer :(

Chill out people. It's just one of those nights. Poor shooting is contagious.

Get some sleep and enjoy the Super Bowl tomorrow.

I hope there is no wardrobe malfunction at the halftime show this year :D

Credit the Hornets for playing great defense. They did exactly what you're supposed to do against us. They aggressively doubled McGrady and forced the ball out of his hands, and they hustled in making the necessary rotations. Without Rafer, we lacked another penetrator/distributor and our best shooters (Battier, Head) weren't hitting tonight.

The Rockets lost because they played soft.....when the outside shots are not falling....go to the basket.....Bonzi did it late, but it was TOO late by then.

And even though Rafer got tossed, I watched the game twice on DVR and the Rockets just flat out missed WIDE OPEN shots all night long.

And their defensive intensity was seriously waning after half time.

This was just a case of a team not be prepared to play tonight.....the entire team stunk it up......they have been reading too many press clippings.

I watched 2 quarter and a half game then gave up. Our defense was fine. We just could not knock down the open shots! Too many 3s and missing by missing. No inside force and 2nd scorer. I really missed Yao.

NO did very simple but effective defense on T-mac. So when T-mac is off, whole team collapses. Head should never play PG. JL3 is a NBDL player.

Please play V-span now in case Alston misses other games for whatever reasons. V-span has the potential. He is new to JVG's system and not the best choice for Gundy's "win it now". I agree not to play Vspan if we are fighting for playoff. Howeve, if this team is built for Championship, let V-span be the backup point guard, SERIOUSLY.

D*&#! Never realize RA was as important as Yao and T-mac.
