Now that's hating 30 points wow if Lin had 30 points you would be ready to retire his jersey tomorrow

 

yes. i rather live with that miss than airballing 3s.

 

problem is Harden and Lin plays same style and both demanding the ball. Obviously Harden is better so Lin is useless since he can't hit outside shot

 

We might all be dead before we see Lin score 30+ points again. =(

 

He's looking pretty terrible offensively and I don't like how he's not handling the ball much now that we have Harden - but his defense has been solid and the effort is there. He's been rebounding at a high level for a guard too. He's also had some good passing games. But I think we should be patient. He's 24 years old. He's adjusting to a new team and a new star player. I feel like it's really early to give up on him.

That said - he doesn't seem very confident either. I'm hoping he can break out of that and we'll see a whole different player. But who knows.

 

Lin isn't really a bad player. He'll be a solid role player in this League.

That contract he got in the summer really makes him look like a scrub though.

 

are people here Rocket fans or Lin haters? They're up by 10 with 3 and change to play people!

Maybe the Rockets should start setting up some PnR for Lin once in a while

Im fursterated with lin because when your one of the top 3 highest paid players on the team, you should at least play like your a top 5 player on the team. I feel that douglas should be in the game at this point as he has the hot hand.

 

I am pretty sure Lin is anxiety disorder on offense.

 

Dude if the coaching staff really wanted a spot up shooter for PG who sits on the 3 points line the whole game and brings the ball up, Toney Douglas is more than enough, and 10x cheaper.

Lin's a waste of money at this point since we're not gonna utilizie him anyways, and he looks horrible. Lakers might be the only ones glad to take the contract, since Heat can't afford it and Knicks won't/can't take him back. Lakers has the luxury and cash and the motive to get Lin, it can really buff up their squad for their star-studded run this season if Lin came off the bench as 6th man. The only problem is their bench, and Lin being free to do what he wants as the 1st option on the 2nd unit will be great for him. Plus if Lakers management sees something in him, they can have Nash mentor him.

Win-win for both of us, especially seeing how McHale and his incompetent coaching staff won't change their plan anytime soon

 

I hate this teams 4th quarter offense, too many 3's and dribbling the shot clock down.

Move the f'in ball and find a good quality shot!

 

Lin's good, he just need to work on getting the ball into the basket. Glad to see Harden finally hitting it. Go Rockets....!

 

I've noticed a common trait among many "Lin specific" supporters: They seem to consistently overstate his strengths while simultaneously reassigning his shortcomings.

Your response above is another clear example of such.

But enough of that, back to the game thread.

Actually, I thought he got fouled on that layup.

They're calling very few fouls... look at how many times Harden has been to the line -- not many for the contact he's taking.

 

why is harden not using up the clock? wth
