It's coaching's fault

 

Pretty tough when Reed gets too much playing time but the guy in front of him was actively sabotaging the offense for most of the game.

Reed's gotta be more aggressive, he only bothered to drive on a mismatch once and he blew by Bridges, if FVV keeps this play up he'll be needed sooner than expected.

 

Fred and Dillion were brought here to make sure we close out games like this. Jalen, Alpi and Amen led us to an 18 point lead. We needed Fred and Brooks to settle the run by the Hornets.

 

Well that blew donkey balls. Up by what 18? And then lost at home to a team that won’t be in the playoffs? Yes, it is one game but this is not only a bad loss but an embarrassing one. I guess we need to temper expectations around here…

Yeah FVV should be the scapegoat tonight.

Jalen played okay, the box scorers like to btch about his shooting percentage but context matters.
Sure he needs to stop chucking 3s.
But then again if u have 3 starters not even playing offense, what do u want him to do?

Like if brooks or Smith just put up 10 each we would have won.

 

I'd like to see more Princeton, and our backcourt handling the ball less.

 

Just cus they targeted him doesn't mean it was successful. I am not even gonna a hate on Jalen this game, I always just wanted him to put more effort. He was playing much harder on defense, but if you didn't see Mann cross him and hit shot after shot I dunno what you were watching either.

 

It looks like we still won't make playoffs.

 

Can we talk about Eason? **** I rather have Tate out there at this point. Rockets lying about his injury.

I was referring to the "chucking 3 after 3" part of your post. What else are they going to do once a team's packed the paint on Alpi? Udoka has nothing else in the bag to pull out. It's a basic PnR; there's never even a pop, just the basic PnR with either the ballhandler chucking or driving (no pass to the corner) or passing straight back to Alpi and we couldn't do that with a packed paint. Or we do a hand off from Alpi to a guard that leads to a drive, again, packed paint. There's no other actions we run, no plays, no making the d have to run and chase us off the line. It's garbage offense.

 

I'm grateful for the new culture Ime instilled.

But I'm dead serious in that I think Silas might be a better offensive coach than Ime.
