    It really sux !!!

Yao Ming must feel so desolate and p@ssed to be at the courtside watching his team mates failed to close out the game in that last stretch of the match, and itchy to be able to return to play to lead his team to win.

Who else thinks the suit dress code is a r****ded idea. It takes the personalities out of the players and out of the team. They all look like some wall street bankers instead of basketball players. I personally don't like it.

    Jon is checking out chicks.

I am not trying to imply Yao is not interested in chicks though. :p

i think it's fair to say now, with the 12-23 record, that the season is lost. Of course not totally lost, as players like Head, Anderson, Alston and Swift will get a good feel on JVG's offensive and defensive mindset, but its sad man. It is sad, if the Rockets could'vepulled out just a couple of wins out of all these close games...just a couple, there would be a little optimism left. But they didn't. So no reason for the optisim. Forget the playoffs this year, Rocket fans should be praying on McGrady's back not bothering him again... :(

From this series of court-side photos, from the facial expressions of Yao Ming (from smiling to desolate) we can see and feel how disappointed Yao Ming was as he witnessed another loss of his team mates.

Yao looks really upset that the Rockets lost another game, like he wishes he could be out there contributing. I also liked seeing the pic of him clapping and cheering his teammates on from the sideline for support. He goes from happy to depressed - you can tell it is killing him to see the team lose game after game.

YUP...... all of us can feel that from his facial expressions.

But of all those photos, I like this BEST. You can feel the comradeship, friendship, appreciation and the bond between Mutombo the great old centre of the past with the Little Giant !!

Of course, that won't matter either. Should the Rockets fail to make the playoffs, Le$ should do the right thing, and bring in a new head coach...

So you are saying JVG's job status should rest on whether the Rockets make the playoffs.

Most of us will agree JVG has his problems. Only a few here are behind him without reservation. But to say Les should fire him if the Rox don't make the playoffs is ridiculous. Any chance at the playoffs will be determined by whether we get our roster back in enough time. If Tracy breaks down again we are done. You can go ahead and stick a fork in this team. If Yao doesn't come back late this month we are done. If JB and DA don't come back we probably won't have enough depth to make a run even with Tracy and Yao return.

JVG took this team to the playoffs his first two years here after we missed them several years in a row. So now the team breaks down with injuries in historic fashion and he should be out the door? Whatever.

If we can get a better coach for this team by firing JVG I'm all for it. If the team quits on him or he loses their respect, then he's gotta go. If the team plays hard in the remaining games, he's earned another year.

Seems to me the Rockets have a history of firing a coach the season after a 52-win season and awful first-round loss.

Define awful. Two years ago the Lakers were just better. Simple as that. Same thing last year, especially with our starting PF out and our starting backcourt hobbled with knee injuries. The only thing that made last year awful was being up 2-0 and choking away games 3 & 4. But if you look at the overall picture of our roster vs. the Mavs, we were fortunate to last 7 games. For me, the severe sting of losing that way to Jirk and the Mavs was mitigated by knowing our team was so worn down we really couldn't have made a serious Finals run.

Worst "GAME 7" loss ever is plenty enough to qualify as awful.
