SO bummed! We fell down in the last minute AGAIN! How come we let Paul have that EASY layup at the crunch??!!! BIG mistake at the BIG time!

It hurt because we were up and those should have been free throws.

We didn't even need a super star, we were one good wing player away from a victory. Yao almost carried us to victory. I can't see how anybody can blame Yao for that last play, it was the best look we can get when everybody is focusing on the guards.

Two reasons the Hornets won this game.

    Chris Paul and David West.

The offense never really got rolling. What did Adelman say? Brooks always played his best against the best, in big games. I really question Alston's shot selection in this one. Dribbling the ball down and taking a quick shot after a pick isn't Adelman's offense. How about some ball movement?

    This was a winnable game.

Missed free throws and layups cost us the game.

Its the refs and Chris Paul's fault. Yao should of gotten to the line twice. Chandler clearly fouled him when Yao was about to make a hook shot. Even if he missed 1 or 2 of them. We should of been up at that point. Also CHRIS PAUL. So annoying.

I hope RA now gets his eyes open and put Scola as a starter and bring Landry off the bench. Move Hayes to the end of the bench.

The refs screwed Yao twice in a row(on the same exact play I might add). They did make up for it on the next two possessions, but those were momentum changers when they let Chandler manhandle Yao like that.

Still, the Rockets lost this game because of their defense. Letting Chris Paul score on that layup was inexcusable. Rick Adelman has to be able to draw up a way to stop that. If they hit an outside shot to win, I can live with that. But don't let him walk it in like that.

A tough loss, but the good news is they've got the Sixers and Sonics coming up, so bouncing back shouldn't be a problem.

I really hope that the handful of T-Mac haters that really believe this team is better off without him remember a game like this....or Boston....or Golden State.....

Nice effort by the Rockets without TMac. My summary below:

    - Excellent defense by the Rockets in the 2nd half, in general. That last basket by Chris Paul was a goof up though.

    - Poor shooting night by Rafer. He took 13 shots and missed 8. That hurt.

    - Rocket's defense became predictable when we went to Yao on every play. The rest of the team didn't step up their shooting, especially Rafer and Head.

Yes..the two Chandler no-calls turned the game in Hornet's favor. But we made some pretty glaring mistakes as well. How about 3 to 4 missed layups. How about Yao's 3 missed FTs. These points add up. We played great. But we needed somebody like TMAC to pick up the rest of the game for us against these better teams.

If Traci McLady played in this game, we would have no chance. That guy just kills team chemistry with his laziness.

And the gambling referees killed is today!

Rafer gave up down the stretch, he had bad body language, he got down on himself and never recovered mentally.

Execution...that's what these games come down to, and we didn't do a good job in the last minute also today. You should never let Chris Paul beat you in these situations.

Yao did all that he could to carry this team today. Those non-calls were huge. We could be up by 4 with a minute to go. That would make a huge difference in the outcome of the game.
