" I think what we have to do, we have to get Yao (Ming) more involved in the offense. There is no way he should be shooting the ball nine times. I think over the last four games, he's probably had the fourth-most shots on our team. That has to change."
    --------Tracy McGrady

"I had nine shots, but I had 16 free throws. That's another eight shots. I missed too many free throws."
    ---------Yao Ming

It seems these two need to find a middle ground. ;)

"I didn't have a problem with our shots as much as our lack of commitment to defense and rebounding. I mean, at halftime, our three big guys who played significant minutes — (Scott) Padgett, ( Clarence) Weatherspoon and Yao — each had one rebound. You're not winning like that."
    ---------Jeff Van Gundy

Right on! The problem that bothers this team ever since it was assembled HAS NOT been solved yet.

This game is gonna be fun. It's a big test for the team, especially for Yao.(considering TD will sit out the next game versus us, the result of that game doesn't say much) He needs to rebound well for us to have a chance. Someone also needs to consistently put a hand in Wade's face.

Rockets are favored! They have an easy schedule after this game so a three game losing streak followed by a sure 6 game winning streak ain't that bad.

    Rockets 104
    Heat 98

These two losses have been a deserved dose of salt, but that doesn't mean those win streaks were illusions. As fans we ride the waves allot giddier then the guys who play. Tonight is a great time to have the roks screw their "here and now" faces back on. Too beat Miami will be amajor load right now, even if by 1 point. ( Which we ALL would galdly take!) Seeing SA without Timmie just shows how thin the line is when your mix is upset. They will go through a free fall, betcha, and just be damn glad when they get to the playoffs. This could result in some interesting shifts in position in the next 3 weeks. Nobody can really say who is going to face who and just what the best match up would be till PO time. But the roxs just need to keep a here and now attitude, no matter what.

Also, interesting that TMac says get the ball more to Big Guy, but But Big Guy says hey foul shots are shots too, but I stunk. This is a healthy mix in here. No Kobe/Shack she said/ he said stuff..

Rocx pull this one out as they find their touch again...big win...

    Let me repeat-

If they are not cold shooting they will win.

    Rox shoot hot, red hot

    Rockets- 109
    Heat- 101

Umm, Wade will probably get his but I expect a big effort from Wesley defensively will be fun to watch. Wade is obviously quicker and taller, but Wesley is a handful to deal with on the defensive end. Wade won't have it easy.

It is said that Zo is likely to start as a pf because of injury of Haslem. So we can see four towers fighting each other, that would be fun!

Hey GENIOUS i think any team that is'nt COLD will win the game...silly

this is a true test for where the Rocks are at.... Pheonix had Marion out...San Antonio had both Duncan & Ginobili out...

i don't think the rockets are as good as many of you believe. they are good..however not good enough to beat the Heat.

They havent really been destroying people Phx. had people out and they played the rest of their games in the East oh and they are beatable bc NY took them to 2 sec. tied until Wade step back money shot in the Garden so its not like they cant be stopped by the Rocks lets just hope our PF show some sort of improvement from the last 2 games.

    The Hell! Tracy said that?
That's a problem. Rox were winning only when they let their offense on a flow and not having burden of who is shooting how much.

actually when its time to panic is when this team rises up and plays as hard as they can, so in that sense i would love for it to be time to panic because when we are relaxed we dont play as well. i look for a great effort tonight against miami, especially from yao, we all know how he views his matchup with shaq

actually there is ample reason to be optimistic because its A GREAT team coming to town. you are right about the home court advantage issue our fans really need to step it up because it gets sleepy watching our fans cheer sometimes after seeing how other fans cheer their teams loudly and with a passion for 48 mins. im jealous:mad:
