What a win! It was so close. I'm glad we pulled this out. Thank you Deke for a great game. He stepped it up big time tonight.

What happened when Miami made that first 4 pt play attempt? Did they have two of those against us tonight?

Barkley's point that Yao had nothing to do with the run is only partly correct. In the 3rd quarter he scored easily over Shaq and helped us get closer before we made our run and took the lead.
In the 4th quarter he was ineffective and Deke did a much better job than him.
It was very close but we deserved to win. It was critical for us tonight because another defeat would have put us in deep trouble.
Our outside shooting also was very bad.Everyone was tentative except for Wesley who deserves props tonight.

What a drama:) Great great win. Everybody contributes, but all the glory belongs to Deke tonight, and Wesley really came alive and played big, especially at cruch time. How cool was that last free throw? I am so glad we have this game now, not only got a win against a great team, but we also should keep this video for a long time. The team can really learn a lot from this game. Yao needs to examine his own plays, especially those unnecessary fouls, useless picks. He has to watch how Deke grab rebounds and change shots. Sura and James should study the game tape, to recognize their some boneheaded plays. But it was such a big win, all defensive.

Our offense still needs a lot of work, but the defense was great tonight.

I don't think Barkley is particularly found of Yao. All of his generalizations about the Rockets before (i.e., "Rockets are as soft as my belly") are really jabs at Yao. But tonight he did make a good point - is Yao going to be a good player, a great player, or a dominant player. That question is still unanswered.

TMac is doing more than OK (27 pts, 6 bds, 5 ast, 4 stl, 2 blk). But Yao is disappointing. He seems to easily relinquish a leading role on this team. No championship character whatsoever.

I am very happy with tonight's performance, but the thing that I am most happy about is the fact that in the second half Wesley and James got their shooting touch back. Here is hoping that it carries over to the next game :)

No, that was for you. :)

Just kidding. I think it was for Mike James fouling shooters at the game end.

A good player? He alreay is.
A great player? After several years, maybe.
A dominant player? Maybe never. Anyway, except Shaq, TD, KG, who is a dominant player in this league?

dude, tmac took 27 shots to get 26 points. yao needs to step up, and tmac needs to get his stroke back.

Yea, that's what he does. He forgets that Yao, while in the game, took it to Shaq and played well for the most part. 14/9 in roughly 22 minutes is pretty good IMO.

Magic gave us a little props by saying he picks us to beat Seattle in the playoffs.

I think now we know that, despite what superstars or all-stars we have on the roster, this is a team in the true sense of the word. No one is out to get their stats. They play together, pick each other up when one is having an off night, and play just for the win. Yao played well, had fould trouble, Deke steps in to do his part for the win!

Great Win! I'll miss the next three as I'm going out of town so this is a great one to go out on.

We're lucky to pull this win out. Missed FTs and dumb fouls almost killed us. HUGE win for us though.

    DEKE for PRESIDENT!!! :)

sorry to bust your bubble but KG is not even close to a dominant player. he is a great player yes but a dominant player you can feel his unstoppable force during every game. KG is a great stat guy but will never be dominant

Maybe Yao is mentally tired from playing ball for 3 years straight. I expect big things from him next year when he has the summer to rest and work on his game.
