It sure was a great feeling coming back from a 21 PT deficit, instead of the other way around. This is why you never give up, and never quit watching. How else do you feel such a high? I love it! Clyde Drexler said it best about Harden's game tonight. "He did everything except serve the popcorn."
In the end...all the players are in it TOGETHER ! We need contributions all around. Hey, it's easy to be overly emotional ...earlier I went along with CP3 being an old man and look what he's done since coming back. I AM concerned about CP3's propensity to injury. Want us to be the best we can be at playoff time.Great contribution from Rivers, Clark etc tonight.
How about this for trivia: Rockets are only six games back in the West. There is plenty of time to close the gap. GS has lost two in a row, Denver in first place.
ejected for some bullsh*t reason by the bullsh*t brothers. Still, it helped to galvanize the team, and James especially seemed to draw motivation from it.
A huge comeback win after the atrocious 2nd quarter. When we were 14 down at halftime, I thought we would lose. The beard has shown that he is the MVP. No one else could score 58 points playing through so many injuries. Go Houston Rockets!
Calvin Murphy cracked me up talking to Craig Ackerman after the game. He says, "I've got a question. Maybe you can answer this for me. You know, I've asked you this question before. You never gave me an answer. Why in the world would a coach play James Harden one on one when they see he's on a roll? Explain that to me." Then Craig says, "You can't." Calvin then says, "You know, you gotta take the lesser of two evils. The rest of the Rockets other than coming off the bench with Rivers wasn't shooting the ball well at all. But yet, they elected to play James Harden one on one. Now explain that to me and I'm going back in the NBA." I love Calvin
If I am not mistaken we have won at least 3 of the last 4 games Tony Brothers has reffed. Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly care for him, but he does not suck nearly as bad as Scott Foster. Scott Foster is in a class by himself and it insults my BB IQ when someone opines that he is one of the best refs in the NBA. Back to the moment great win tonight. Makes up for at least one of the times we let one slip away. Brothers tossing Tucker lit a spark in the team and the rest is history. Great short handed team win. Amazing performance by Harden.
So since they'll never be held accountable, the Rockets just have to factor in horrific officiating every single time these two are assigned to their games?
I had to tape the game and I just finished it ! I see Brothers little arse struck again! Fk him they won anyway
We were at the game...and Brothers should have borrowed my glasses! It was so demoralizing for awhile, but the comeback in the 4th quarter was a standing only exciting finish! We had a great time...high fives all around!!!!
