Jackson and the Iowa boy join the team tomorrow, though they didn't practice with NO today I read somewhere that they were still in town. I would guess Green is the same, will meet the Rox in New Orleans.
I for one am happy the organization has decided to stop trying to mortgage the future for a weak chance at winning now. ala Barkley, ala pippen, etc.
Good point ! Your right it really only worked once and that was with Drexler but then again we already had a good team. Now we can go after that big name next year with a little more money to spend and we will still have this nucleus in tact !
Can'T wait to hear Barkley say how Stupid Houston is and what stupid trades these were. I promise and quote me Barkley will say something like " Trades ? what Trades ? Oh Houston really did nothing but move trash around ! " Guaranteed he will say something negative !
no kidding, i believe smith said that james and wells gives new orleans one of the best benches in the conference. these guys are so r****ded it's hilarious.
Apparently, according to Ian Thompson on TnT, we could have gotten Artest for a package that included Wells and Brooks. I would have done that trade. Artest > Brooks. C. Yao / Mutumbo PF. Scola / Landry SF. Artest / Battier SG. McGrady / Head PG. Alston / James That would have been a good trade. Artest would have given us a 3rd All-star, and matched us up with all the other teams that made big moves.
Yeah, I couldn't believe Kenny said that. Sometimes he just doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. (Sorry Tinman)
