ClutchFans Game Thread: Heat @ Rockets 2/11/2021

Can you imagine Porter, House, Wall and Cousins on the floor together? Someone is going to get hit.

 

But we don't play any real contenders in the next 20 games lol.

 

At this point I would try to move Gordon, Oladipo, Tucker, House and McLemore. They are better off getting more draft picks and clearing cap space and tanking.

I don’t mind trading for some young players that aren’t getting a chance on other teams and letting them play.

 

I can't get hyped for these dudes no matter what man.

I got hyped up for so many draft guys during the Lowry/Scola years...and you know what? We have two of those guys on our team. Wall and Cousins.

 

Yeah, they are playing teams on par where this team is.

 

It’s not like we haven’t been without Wood - or name any other starter outside of Tucker and Tate , since he’s been out. It’s literally 30-50 points a game every game this losing streak we are missing due to injures

 

inexcusable not to play Nwaba in the second half. He should have taken all of House's minutes.

 

It's a double edged sword. The bigs (Cousins) aren't quick enough to defend switches and the drop was getting killed too. And the wings are quick enough to defend, but cannot box out Kelly Olynyk and Andre Iguodala. It's basically a talent deficit. They need better defensive bigs or better rebounding wings.

 

Was this game worse than it appears?
The score is so close.
I never felt we were threatening for real at the end.

Listen, Nwaba is great, but the defense wasnt the problem tonight which is where Nwaba's value comes from. Nwaba is a very bad shooter so he kills the spacing on the team.

 

Wizards are gonna mop the floor with the Rockets. The Timberwolves would blow out this team.

 

To be fair, those two players are over 30 and coming off Achilles injuries.

When Cousins was twin towers-ing with AD in NO, he looked like the best 5 in the game. Wall, pre-injury, was a 20p/10a guy.

 

What's going on here? Is the hot Mrs. Stone trying to spanish fly Morey?That's funny right there.

 

and these are the two that was supposed to help out harden in his quest for a ring, can't see why the man chose to bail on us

I'm on the youth movement pseudo tank wagon now btw. This team is pitiful.

Trade PJ, Oladipo, House, Eric, McLemore for the best young assets or picks possible and get Bruno some minutes.

 

I am betting you any money he aint going 1 - 8 on 3s like whatever house did and is worlds better at drives and finishing at the rim

i am sorry hes not good at driving... he should be because he has awesome physique but hes just too shaky finishing at the rim...lucks practice or whatever... id more trust ariza driving to the cup than danuel
