Kukoc went 29?! ah he was a monster in europe...could of been goat here if he were to be groomed/featured like the franchise...still had a nice career...
I feel like Nix after drinking a late night veggie smoothie.. That was some bullshit and I'm sick to my stomach..
i liked him a lot in europe...considered him the best yugo player back then....he wasnt your typical stat padder but could and would do anything for his team to win...and his teams almost always won...despite not being the most stacked ones...
Probably the best game I've seen from KPJ this season. Even accounting for his braindead turnovers in crunch time. But just LMFAO at the coaching staff drawing up that play for him to tie the game. You cannot convince me otherwise that was a deliberate attempt to ensure the game didn't go any further. Deserves to be in the game thread comment as well: I saw more pinpoint passes in traffic tonight from Ty than I have from Nix AND KPJ the entire season combined. I wish, I truly wish I was exaggerating.
ah we have to develop eric gordon...alpi will be fine, he is still young...will get plenty of shots and PT when its his turn to be traded...
We're all disappointed and unhappy with this defeat. We are better than last season. Let's hope for the best.
I liked 4 Yugos from that period (mi60s/early70s born players) : Drazen Petrovic, Toni Kukoc, Petar Naumoski and Dejan Bodiroga. All perfect players, very clever, effective team players. Dejan is considered with Oscar Schmidt of Brazil "the best players" did not play in NBA but personality-wise Petar Naumoski was the best player, loved by everyone .He was the most civilized player I have ever watched. All great players, RIP Petrovic, respect to the others.
I'm not entirely sure that the players ran what the coaches asked them to. As soon as Gordon passed it to Garuba the play looked broken
Youngsters are putting it together. Full effort and learning how to count on one another in certain moments. A TEAM is forming! "Our guards are so sucky I hate how they play" --- KPJ/Jalen only two guys from the starters with a plus in the +/- LOL (this is where they go to brushing off +/- watch ) Sucks to lose a close one, but its better than all the blowouts.
did you know drazen and dejan were the first cousins? a little known fact... btw drazen scored more perhaps even assisted more than tony but his teams were known to lose in the finals to the 'outsiders' that relied more on team play rather than the star power.....tony would rarely ever allowed that...
bet you any money thats what philtadelphia tankers thought at one point... hows that worked out for them?
Hit some tough shots, hit some open shots and got some very open shots. The Rockets should have done better to run him off the line.
