I've been telling you guys, Gary is an intangible player. Just put him with all star talent and he will fill in. His skills don't come across in pick up games. He just does the right things at the right times. MDA played Gary almost the whole second quarter and the Rockets have never looked back. Rockets were up only a couple points before he checked in.
I was genuinely asking since the last time we had an argument about this i think he talked to me like i was an idiot, so much that i said "ok, you're right" and i left without arguing anymore.
I love the adjustments I'm seeing tonight. Westbrook's role in the offense is attacking the basket and looking for layups, Harden is attacking his defender quickly before they set up, if he's one on one he quickly takes advantage. Our defense and rebounding look good, and importantly our bench is active and scoring.
Definitely. Thing is, that two point mid range will forever be there because of how far teams play off Russ. If he's hitting them with this consistency then he should take a lot more.
