Hey yahoo's updating the games again, sweet. Not as sweet as if DOD can let me go back to the channel but still pretty sweet.
I know I didn't curse, I did participate in a discussion about Paris Hilton during halftime and kind of asked for maybe links for the torrent file. But I figure it was half time so it was ok. Then when the game was back on I said "yeah game" and was banned. I actually got back on through the good old fashion mirc, i think i said "I'm back" and then was prepare to followed the game, but got banned in around 15 secs later. So I don't know if it was the Paris Hilton discussion or the one line remark that got me banned, but I didn't think they are that much worse than the constant typing of "yao" some of the people in the channel were doing. Oh well, it's cool, just wish I knew where the boundries were so I wont cross them.
I have to admit that Yao influences the game tremendously on defense. The Heat are changing a lot of shots because of him. However, the Rockets' offense is clearly better when Yao is on the bench tonight.
I think Yao hit his sophmore wall right now, but the good thing about a big man is that even if they hit the wall, they can still contribute other ways. Though I think we are putting too much pressure on Yao, that's why he's struggling of late.
Is there anything wrong with Yao today? Why is JVG putting him on bench while foul-troubled Cato stays in? I would save Cato for 4th quarter when Yao has to sit down.
It's times like this were the team can get "comfortable" or complacent. Keep playing hard, or we'll be looking at a 3 point lead in the 4th.
Anybody who blames Yao is an idiot! Yao doesn't care about his own statistics, he only cares about whether Rockets win or not. We should all be thankful for having such a unselfish and great player in our team!
Rocket's Offense is not better without Yao Ming. Sure Francis and Mobley are shooting well tonight, but do you think they will keep it up all season? Just remember where the rockets were without Yao Ming. The lottery.
Those seem like the words of someone who DIDN'T WATCH that injury-plauged 2001-2002 season. Also, we were in the lottery last year...with Yao Ming.
No...i typed in "s-h-i-t-e" once and got auto- kicked as we were imploding late in the 4th against memphis, was back on for the next game.
