Yao attempted a hook shot, one of his few, and it was obvious that he should have backed it in and slammed on peewee's head. Yao actually did a fade away hookshot, it appeared.... Then he sat the bench. Coincidence? I don't know who was guarding him, but it wasn't Grant. Yao needs to get back at Grant for that scar on his arm! Get mean Yao! Like this........
Posey Steveee Barkley Sam Mack S. Anderson and to an extent you can say Moochie ( i know he sucks now, but for a moment he was the top reserve PG)
Hell i'd be afraid to pass him the ball too. He's so soft, he looks like he would not be able to hold on to it. Yeah, right, the guards have about 1/10th of second as their window of opportunity to get him the ball. After that he gets pushed around like a rag doll.
Exactly, I agree but so far this season Yao Mings Game looks like its been put on hold after the way he and the Gards were playing in the preseason.
If you are implying that it was some sort of punishment by JVG, then you can rule that out. Because immediately after Yao got out of the bench, he took a 19ft jumpshot.
Quit dogging the man so much... You have no idea how hard it is to try and get position with players like Grant down there. He's trying, yes he is a little weaker but again he is still in his second year... sheesh
I almost wish all that "Yao aggresiveness" articles weren't written... ever since then, you can tell its on his mind, and he looks like he's pressing a bit (when he does actually have good position, and gets his hook shot). He'll relax soon enough... and none of this is a problem as long as we're WINNING.
Looks like we're being more aggressive on the offensive end now...finally we're pulling away from the crappy heat
That does not sound right at least at the defensive end. He has 5 blocks and 5 rebounds so far. That must be someone else going for rebounds while he was blocking the shooters.
A 7'6 guy does jump as a 6'5 guy, and cannot act as quick as a shorter guy. Yao is challenging many shots, other teammates have to block out and get rebounds.
