But he doesnt really do anything better than Garuba.

His 3ball prowess is a lie.

Garuba has hit more 3's on way fewer attempts.

With the way Lowry physically abused him I would not be surprised.

 

Porter is not ready, I think Wall needs to play and let Wall and Porter go back and forth on the point guard position...he is not ready.

KPJ can't run an offense that isn't there lol. Silas own words they weren't running anything and anyone that watches games could see they weren't running anything. Why you wouldn't run anything in pre-season to get the team even a little prepared...beats me, but hopefully, KPJ will have more plays to run and more PnRs I hope.

 

CF used to rag on MDA for not having set plays but Silas doesnt even have a system, never mind actual X's and O's.

And Silas sucks when it comes to ATO plays.

His choice of inbounders is just incompetent.

I already feel stupid for buying into all the hype this summer about this year’s draft. None of the hyped-up top 3 players look like future stars to me from what I have seen. Cade has no burst and is by no means 6-8ft… Mobley looks too meek… Green looks like an WNBA player…

I want my money back.

 

Forget SL - Mobley has had a very good preseason.

 

If Sengun plays as many minutes as Green, the narrative would be very different.

Kid is for real.

 

Silas had a bunch of excuses last year, legit ones. Covid and the whole Harden drama and havnig the team blow up on him.

This year, no excuses.

The team can lose and will lose a lot but how you lose matters. Losing games where you play hard and play disciplined but move the ball and look competent but just not having the talent, fine.

Losing while players are playing lazy dumb basketball...that will fall on the coach.

No excuses for Silas this year.

 

It's kind of funny though isn't it?

The idea of these players is often a lot better than the reality.

Now that we've seen them we can all see how they might not be more than fringe all-star players. They could be special, that's still true, but the whole idea that just drafting top 5 means 'contender' needs to end. We'd be lucky if J.Green was Zach Lavine these pie in the sky 'Next Kobe' that's the stuff you hear pre-draft and we'll be hearing all about the next Kobe's, Durant's, Harden's for a whole season again.

 

What Silas fails to understand is that DEFENSE is what's keeping these games close.

The problem is that his starters are putrid defensively and he needs to put in his 2nd and 3rd stringers at end of games to make up these huge leads.

Same **** happened last season too.

This is a pattern.

 

I want to see Tate and Garuba playing with the 1's next game.

Sit House and Augustin.

Let Sengun run the 2nd unit, not JC.
