Well, I'm sure if JVG had his way, he would not have wanted Juwan Howard in the McGrady trade, but sometimes you have to take some garbage back whe a team trades for a great player.

all JVG is doing is cleaning up the mess that, unfortunately Rudy T and co. started by signing average players like Mo Taylor and Moochie norris and Kelvin Cato.

    Chuck Hayes 25 minutes 10 rebounds-6 Off, 6 pts
Stro Swift 8 minutes 0 rebounds, 2 to, 0 pts

Has Hayes replaced Swift in the rotation?

Too little and too late with Hayes and Baxter. We are simply wasting our time screwing around with playing Howard and Mutombo heavy and early minutes.

Posey did a great job defending TMac, kept him below 40 with a subpar shooting percentage! ;) Can't complain about Alston, he had a "Mike James" caliber game. The Rockets hang tough, it is just not their year. For some reason, TMac struggles with his shooting percentage at TC. Continue to be impressed with Hayes, he really impacts the game. Oh well.

Wade is a heck of a player, I really like his game. Shaq seems like the older and slower he gets, the more he whines.

wouldn't have been in the game without howard's offense and mutombo at least taking up some space against shaq and a few decent defensive plays. tracy shot terribly all game, howard was the only O for a while. obviously baxter and hayes can't get much more than putbacks..for the most part they're ineffective even on the p-n-r unless the shooter gets free

This is old magic team. Even with Yao back, Tracy's team still is tracy's team. Nothing will be changed. Half of NBA players can do 13/37 if allowed. Finally I do believe he is not top 5 players in this league.

Luther's problem is the Rookie Wall. I haven't looked at Chris Paul's stats, but I'm wagering even CP is struggling lately.

It seems LIKE EVERY SINGLE GAME, we can't shoot over 40% for a game. in the NBA, for a TEAM, thats HORRIBLE. another game below 40% shooting and we lose, whats new.

im still looking for that list of the projected top 10 players in the next nba draft

Very bad game for Luther. He seemed lost out there and he seems to be regressing. Deke needs to retire. He can't guard anybody and is so slow. Juwan Howard proves once again he is a average player at best, 1 rebound in 29 minutes. Stro proves he has the basketball IQ of a donkey. David Wesley proves once again he can't guard 2 guards. Chuck and Lonny played hard and deserve more PT.

Do you expect Tmac to hit over 50% every game? The guy is not 100% healthy. Please allow him to have a subpar game once in a while.

I am tired of watching these old damn statues in Wesley, Howard, Deke. Get some young blood.

he had to take crazy quick shots cuz we were down 20 into the 4th.
but still, he needs to attack the basket more often.

Nice try at the end, but we had no chance to catch a team that has a closer like Wade on the floor. I hate to say it after a loss to the Heat, but Wade is a great player. He is what greatness is all about. Miami has a long way to go before they are anywhere near Detroit. If Riley hadn't picked up GP at the last minute, they'd be in a world of hurt.

Chuck Hayes continues to impress. I agree Luther could be hitting the wall. He's played way too many minutes this year.

Just by taking a quick look at the box score, it's hard to see how we lost by only 6.

I think we should have tried putting Chuck on Wade. He couldn't be any worse than Wesley and Luther. Chuck is a good defender who also had quick feet. I would have liked JVG at least try it.

i know it seemed like mcgrady took alot of shots, but him rafer baxter and hayes were the only rox players that were effective tonight.

Overall though I was just pissed from the beginning when I did not see Yao on the floor. The Rox really needed him tonight. I think all things considered baxter and hayes did a good job on shaq so good in fact, that if shaq would have had a regular night at the free throw line rox would have probly won the game.

as much as i hate to say it, i think mac is our problem at home games. if he's not hitting his shots he needs to get other guys open shots. not take 37 to try to get hot. that's kobe's way.
