Really and honestly, we shouldn't be surprised. Many expected us not to be that great or even good. IMO, we overachieved thus far. (I predicted us in the 35 win range and they have what, 20 or 21 now?)
It is slipping when you're only 1/2 a game above the 9th seed and only a game up on the 10th seed, so yeah, the concern to miss the playoffs is real.
WTF. It's always been like that. All the Western Conference teams except the Lakers are within 4 games of being outta the playoffs.

it's going to be tough with a bonafide superstar like wade. you give a team with a superstar double digit leads going into the 4th, it's extremely tough to come back from. hopefully, we can do it. let's see.
I love RA as a coach. However, I don't like how he's persisting with guys who are clearly off. AB was being well held by Rafer. Why wait till 3mins left to bring in Lowry? Same with Battriza and Budinger. When we put our all-defensive starters out there and don't defend, we're screwed.
You know, call me crazy but I really thought we had a shot at least making the playoffs. I still have some hope, but I agree that these guys look gassed overall, mentally and physically.
I predicted 42 wins but I totally agree with your sentiments. We have played better than anticipated but the last 7-8 games have shown that we are a play off team only if we can do a decent trade for T-mac or if everyone keeps over achieving.
