I think the rocket commentator nailed it. Since Luis Scola came into the lineup we have been playing much better. The fact is we lost the last two playoff series just because of this. You can't expect to compete against elite teams with one hand tied behind your back. TMac and Yao can't carry the team against the best NBA teams with a player that the opposing team could completely ignore!

We haven't been playing against the best NBA teams yet in this streak. Rockets were blowing out the mediocre to bad teams with Chuck in the starting lineup regularly last season. Hopefully, the improvement will show in March when the schedule gets tough again.
lol.. I am so glad he is not the coach. Adelman never backed down, he kept experimenting till he found his guys. JVG would never let Brooks, Scola and Landy develop the way Adelman did.
