A great Game was it not ? Just how many more points could Yao Ming have scored if he hadn't been ignored so many times?

aaah, i remember that game. indiana. 3ot. MOOOOOO....oh wait, he's gone.

but i gotta say it again. Yao was awesome. But once again, he did it against a crappy team. First Orlando, now Atlanta. But wow, I'll take it. It made me so giddy seeing him take over and dominate, just muscling his way thru double/triple teams. Way to go Yao!!!!!

It would be a disaster if Rox lost this game in my opinion. You're supposed to win games that you think you should win to get any chance of making the Playoffs....and this one should be an easy victory. Some of the Rox's players didn't show up early and play horrible in particular Francis and Mo. Mo managed only 2 points in 30mins??? That's bad. Francis is struggling and continue to struggle....I don't know what is up with that guy. We continue to believe him and he continue to fail...what can you do about it. If Rox don't make the Playoffs....i expect him to be gone cuz he ain't fitting in this JVG's system.

Does anyone know what's in the piece of paper JVG is always holding during games? Also, how come when ESPN is showing nice highlights of star players from other teams, the Rockets are always involved?

Yetti....always hating...if Yao took any more shots than he did he would have fallen over and died.

Uh, did Cooper just joke about black people in the shadows?

If Jeff Hagedorn makes that comment, he'd be fired tomorrow.

if my memory serves me correctly, Rik Smits's career high is 47 points. not a knock on Yao, but Rik was a dominant offensive force.

    holy crap!

i thought we were dead then steve hits a 3. then i thought we were dead and jackson hits a 3. then it looks like we might lose and yao just takes it at a double team and scores like it ain't nothing (that what separates the good players from the great players, the "oh you're double teaming me? i guess the highlight will just look that much better" attitude).

man that was great. i missed quarters 2 and 3 at church but i still got my money's worth. mobley draining 3's, jackson draining 3's, yao tearing everybody up inside, steve going balls to the wall for rebounds in the overtimes. i don't know how steve found jackson on that 2nd OT 3 but thank God the pass got there.

and yao. 41/16/7? wow! again, a team doesn't double yao before he gets the ball and he tears them apart. when he starts out hitting, it just seems like you're shocked when one of his jumpers doesn't drop. and he was punishing people tonight and going at double teams and spinning and moving and being aggressive. everything you could ever want him to do. beautiful.

one negative, our pf's are the slowest people on earth and for some reason jvg just keeps making them switch onto guards. the hawks OT offense consisted of switching onto weatherspoon and abusing him with crossovers and everything else. and then they started doing it to mo tay (who had i think 3 to's from the middle of OT #2 until the middle of OT #3). and i've never seen so many scrubs hitting jump shots like the hawks tonight.

damn i'm glad we won, this would've been crushing. i know i shouldn't worry about teams 5 games behind us with 28 games to go, but i've watched the oilers blow 32 point leads and the stros choke so many times i can never be comfortable. portland worries me the most b/c they actually have the talent to go on a run, whereas seattle and utah don't. it's just a matter of portland continuing to not figure it out and not put it together.

    phew!

Yetti, can't you give the broken record routine a rest for ONE FREAKIN' GAME!!?? I'm guessing Yao isn't complaining judging by the big smile on his face at the end.

The guy got 21 shots and 13 freethrows. Let it go.

Rik would have been a great scorer had he stayed healthy.

His defense, strength, and toughness were all mediocre, however... and that's why the comparison is ridiculous.

Plus, the fact that so far Yao looks like he's a healthy big big man, unlike Smits and Zydrunas (knocking on wood as I type this).
