No, he's not slow. He has decent lateral quickness.

It's going to be great to see #1 out there again.

He looked quicker than Chase to me, and I'm pretty sure Givony at DX has scouted him better than DD.

Chase's length does help him out on the defensive end, so that bodes very nicely for Parsons, who happens to be even taller.

Robert Horry was a great defender.... at both the 3 and the 4.

Yeah, I saw that profile too. Also, most reports say he can create from the perimeter and get to the basket, not exactly the marks of a slow player.

Lol nash can create from the perimeter but he does not have the lateral quickness to defend. What about andre miller he creates from the perimeter and he was never quick.

I was going to have to miss the game but the NYE party start got moved back 2 hours and now I get to see it. And if we lose forget about it quickly with lots of alcohol.

Is Parsons the point forward we've all been looking for?
    Poor man's Odom comparisons.

Parsons is huge at the sf position at 6'10, for him to be as mobile, quick as he is and to be more than capable to play the sf position is cool to have on this team.

Point is, he isn't slow. Now he may still be a bad defender anyways, but that remains to be seen.

I think ATL is a great opponent to test the Martin/Lee starting combo. I don't think Martin will have a terrible time guarding Marvin and Lee won't be worse than Martin in trying to stop Johnson.

Unfortunately we'll probably see the Martin/Bud combo trying to guard Johnson and Marvin, respectively

Hopefully the Rockets can pull off a win, but I won't get my hopes up.
The Rockets obviously need more practice time together after the Memphis disaster
