Definitely, Span is capable, he can dish assists, can defense and penetrate, the only thing he needs to improve is 3 points shooting.

 

jho player of the game? lets be realistic it was tmacs 31 that put the game out of reach for the hawks

 

haha is that the promotion this year? Even in the past, I never bothered redeeming the tickets. I must've passed on at least 50 big macs with the amount of games I went to.... But then again, I might not still be alive either.

 

Oh yes they do (when there is no break in the action). It's not often there is a 25-30 point game with 8-9 minutes left. Most coaches will definitely call a timeout to sub players. I've seen it done many times over the years.

 

Couple of nice plays to Chuck Hayes from Vspan. He really needs to look for his shot though, a SG that can't score ain't worth much.

 

Juwan really stepped up tonight. Oh, Tmac too.

 

Actually, I'm starting to wonder if the Red Rowdies section is having the impact on the opposing team's offense. That's quite a few games in a row where the Rockets held the opposition in the low 30s at home on that side of the court.

When the Rockets can hear you shout defense and the opposing team have to stare at endless shades of red moving, standing, shouting, waving.... It must be hard to focus.

 

A PG that is forced to play SG is not going to do that well either.

V-Span is a natural PG.....if he is not going to play then send him to the NBDL to stay in shape and mentally sharp.

TMac looked like the old himself tonight. If that report about his back is true, and he can really get over this mental thing, then I am not worried any more that he can carry the team until Yao is back, and we can really make some big noises in the playoff.

try and keep in mind that he IS actually a PG rather than a SG...
He has played a lot as both due to the makeup of both the greek national team and his prev team panathinaikos that both had a very capable PG and SG and on various ocassions played with 3 guards on the floor.
But he still is more of a PG

his shot is also better in the flow of the game...he's never going to be the kind of player that gets you instant points in 1min right of the bench.

 

i hope he takes it for the next five years

 

official word is he's packing his bags, but im gonna suggest he's out like Saddam ....uh, meaning he's gonna be traded real soon.
