Actually this is one of the better games that Rockets played season. Yao played well with the exception of that missed dunk. I really like his 5 blocks tonight. He no longer jumped into his opponents and just calmly swapped them. JJ is hitting his shots also.

The bad part is lack of ability to finish fast breaks. And what happened to Mo?!:p

as well as we are playing, I think credit goes most to Antoine Walker, who doesn't know when to stop shooting and when to start playing defense. Give that man the game ball.

ok...so I guess no more trade Yao posts by the drama queens until the next game we lose.

You can easily put those drama queens' posts on your ignore list. To see something posting 2500 messages within two years on Yao is getting old.

Anyone notice that Yao's been getting to the line more? Since that loss against Dallas at the beginning of the month, Yao's been averaging 9.5 free throw attempts a game. Even on nights when his shots weren't following at least he's been aggressive in going to the hole. And all because some nice old black lady bought him lunch.

I meant 'falling' instead of 'following.'

Just as Bill noticed, the refs are sometimes even calling the fouls on Yao when Yao are shooting fade aways. The refs are giving him a break with the exception of him playing Dampier, who nearly fouled Yao on each play but was rarely called.

Atlanta nearly gave us this game on a silver platter, horrible defense and offense on their part, i'm suprised we didn't win by even more. Atleast we finished them off, I see that as an improvement. I really like Sura's hustle and rebounding. ATL is just in pure suck mode, let's see if we can get above .500 this month before we see what kind, if any, improvement we are making, coaching-wise or playing-wise.

I really hate his careless TOs, especially all those offensive fouls running the breaks.

are you serious? the offensive foul where he layed the ball up and was called for a push off? the one where he was actually fouled? can you actually see?

only 77 replies after a big win???

yeah, still an ugly win imo. We are often clueless on the offense end of the court.
