another rousing half of rockets bball. 41 big ones. i think we had 37 with 5 and a half minutes left so that's a solid 4 points after that. and this is against that devastating hawks defense.

 

we should win this. but then again we shouldve won last time. infact we did win last time we just stopped playing with 4 minutes left and gave up the lead.

Yao Ming's shot blocking has improved dramatically on this homestand. He's no longer jumping into the guy... he lets him make his move, and then calmly swats it away because he doesn't have to jump to get a piece of it.

Are we seeing the beginning of the end for Mo in the rotation and the establishment of Juwan as our best (relatively speaking of course) PF?

 

The Hawks are absolutely abysmal in all aspects of basketball. I am amazed that any team would sign Antoine Walker for a long term contract.

However, I like what I see in Josh Smith. He's young and makes alot of mistakes, but he has good athleticism and also the tools to become a good all around player. A few years from now, we'll be watching him dominate games.
