Hotlanta is good. We have to play out of our minds to get by these guys. If we win, GREAT. If we lose, cest la vie...(just learn something from your mistakes boys) But, this "chemistry/Ariza" issue that DD is suggesting is going to bother me. This is exactly what we don't need. Christ, we just went through this crap with Tracy, now Trevor? For the sake of the team, I hope doubleD is wrong and was just speculating, but I can certainly see it happening if that were the case. Back to the game: Sorry, but I think we're toast tonight. If the Bulls LOOKED like a well greased machine, the Hawks are! -
I agree with DD that there is something going on with the chemistry when Ariza is on the floor...when he gets the ball it seems like everyone stands around, prob waiting on the eventual turnover so they can run back on transition defense. I think if the Rox can hae a good shooting night, they can win against anyone. But god help us if Ariza takes more than 10 shots tonight. We almost beat them in Atlanta, so I think we win 107-102.
Pay back time. Rockets will win this game. The team seems to come back from a terrible lost. Can't wait for Feb. 18th to get here.
Besides the SA game, the Rockets haven't played well in a long, long time. I sense another loss which is part of the overall tailspin.

So 40% of the time the games end in a tie?? hahah.. i'm sure its a typo on your part. But anyways... it's gonna be a tough game. We need this one to build momentum for Denver, Portland, and Phoenix...all of which are gonna be tough games. Is the Chuck Wagon playin tonight? I didnt see the game on Saturday but read that he was battling tendinitis in his knee..
This must be a record low number of replies to a game thread. Everyone including the fans seem to be in a little mini-slump. Frankly, I agree that the Hawks are likely the better team, so the Rockets will have to on top of their game to win. Unfortunately, I don't think they are, and I don't think they will. We don't really match up well with them.
Okay I need extra cheering to occur on my behalf because I'm stuck in class until 10pm (ET) so I will likely miss most if not all of the game. Hence, the need for people to pick up my slack! LOL And send me updates... Anyone wanna be my twitter updater?
This will be a really tough one. Unless everything clicks, a loss is probably in the cards. 109-97 Hawks
I'm as solid a Rockets fan as there is, but I can't help but have a feeling of foreboding about an impending home losing streak. I want them to win every one, but EVERY game for them is going to be a struggle. They can beat any team in the NBA with their hustle and team play, but can also lose to just about anyone with the holes in their lineup and mismatches. If they win tonight, I'll feel much better (again). Just putting my feelings out there.
Battier moustache Thought this deserved its own thread. (EDIT: Guess not) (from the pre-game interview)
