WOW! I REALLY hate posters who try to split the fan base by their pro-TMac or pro-Yao comments that diss one while praising the other. It is absolutely rediculous that people do that, it just shows that some posters are not Rockets fans, because if you dislike Yao or T-Mac, then you are NOT a Rockets fan, and you don't care about the team's success, because not only these two guys, but EVERY single player in uniform contributes something.

I hope this crap stops, it is really annoying sh**

 

I agree tigermission. I guess when people think of a center/guard superstar combo they think of Shaq/Kobe and their bickering. Reality is T-Mac and Yao couldn't be less selfish and unassuming. They respect each other and they don't care who takes the shots as long as they win. Their personalities mesh and unfortunately a little too much. That's why we need the fiery guys (Sura, Mutombo, Barry)

 

Good win. Blew a pretty comfortable lead but the Grizz did step their D up.

Great team win. We were moving the ball very efficiently, Yao and TMac connected multiple times. Mike James hit big shot after big shot for us.

 

I'm not worried about the crowd during the playoffs. Last year in the playoffs the crowd went up ten levels. I remember an announcer last year made the observation that the marlins hardly had any support during the regular season, but when playoff baseball came around, that stadium was packed and rocking. Playoffs DO make a difference.

 

Seriously guys, that PnR by T-Mac/Yao is DEADLY if done correctly, like they did tonight.

Twice in the last minute+, McGrady took the double team on the PnR and Yao ran towards the basket and got sweet passes from McGrady both times, and Yao made 5 points on those two positions alone.

JVG MUST find a way to have McGrady/Yao practice this PnR more, it could be the most unstoppable move since the Stock/Malone PnR

The key is Yao aggressively moving towards the basket after setting the pick, and then the opposing team's defense taking the bait and going after McGrady, leaving Yao all alone inside.

I would love to see that play more often

 

Hey, didn't T-Mac have two steals in the first half? I heard Gene say it during the game and during halftime radio highlights. I also saw the box score. When I checked in the second half, he had one steal. They are cheating T-Mac out of stats LOL

 

Memphis is a tricky matchup but I'm really glad we won at home and the series 3-1.
This will improve our confidence.

 

did you watch the Rockets at all last year? TC was out of control!

 

I saw another Yao from last couple games.

 

We can sweep Memphis if it was the playoffs. Let's face it T-Mac didn't have his best mojo tonight.

I was there when they showed up at the restaurant; there weren't many people there at the time...it was pretty cool. Was this shown on tv or something?

 

Wasn't it louder during the regular season as well, though?

 

not really...

only when the playoffs came it became so loud..I even have some clips of the games and it was crazy

yea its a feature on fsn before the game on monday and they showed it tonight again as i was flipping through.....how lucky to be there during that time did tmac stop to talk to the people in the restaurant or did they just walk right to the back???

 

I LOVE TIM LEGLER....HE GIVES US SO MUCH LOVE HE JUST TOLD THE ENTIRE CREW TO GIVE THE ROCKETS LOVE BECAUSE THEY WILL BE VERY DANGEROUS IN THE PLAYOFFS
