Too much one-on-one. Everyone is expected to beat their man off of the dribble. It's stupidball.

Geez whats with the Harden bashing going on here....he was open, it was a 50/50 shot and unfortunately it didn't fall our way. He was easily the most dependable player tonight. I have to say, great game by the team, our best defense of the year and surprised to see Harden stepping it up on the defensive end. I can live with this loss, we are in the playoffs, and we have 3 winnable games coming up that should push us to 47 wins. Not a bad effort they put up tonight and it was a good warm up leading to the play offs. Props also to Mchale in sticking with Lin through his bad patches, paid off in the end.

The teams that run the best plays out of timeouts and down the stretch of games have playcalling specialist in suits who sit with a clipboard and have one job: draw up genius plays over and over again (instead of the head coach trying to do it). That's something I've noticed from watching NBA games, anyway. We need to get one of those guys.

WHo said they were equal?? I dont assume anything, I look at the specific game.

Harden open shot (no field goals the entire quarter) is not > Lin open shot ( he just hit 2 3's and is hitting a solid % of it the last few months)

According to your logic the best player should take every single shot every single time.

Was that the play that McHale drew up to end the game? A long 2? Why not draw up a play to get a 3?

    Of course. I completely agree.

That's why it's important to remember how young we are. Experiences like this are needed to improve for the future!

I think this is McHale's strategy. We've seen it all season, and I'm not sure what the success rate is but my guess is not that good.

The only issue i had with the last play was having Beverly on the court for the shot...I wouldve left Asik, Jones, Lin and Harden, and replaced Beverly with Delfino/or Garcia...Memphis wouldnt have hacked Asik bc they were down by 2...not three...Asik helps better with the pick and roll better than any other big on our team...He still needs to be the guy setting that high pick...

Also, I hope folks see the importance of Chandler Parsons on this team...his ability to guard multiple positions goes unmentioned..

And finally, Lin, I believe is going to be huge in the playoffs this year..i just have this weird finally...he loves the big stage...the crowd and the moment...and he is starting to make huge pressure shots down the stretch in games...ie two huge 3's in the 4Q..

And anyone that is bashing Harden, is a total noob/idiot...bc he played his a$$ off..and you can tell he was gassed...welcome to the playoffs Rockets...Tonight and the Lakers games are going to be great examples of games we need to expect soon...Go Rockets...

Eh, not sure why people are upset by this loss. Good fight, good practice.

If they're open? Then yes I do think the clutch superstar should take the shot every single time.

    last shot was wide open.
    preious ones are so forced.
Lin is clutch somehow. not only this game.
Harden ISO hurts now. but may be a good thing to one day develop a super star.
