Losing this game and the Lakers winning tonight would mean that LA would just be 1 1/2 games behind us. We still have to play them on their homecourt in our final season game where we'd be underdogs.

Wishing we'd lose this game so that we could possibly face the Spurs instead of the Nuggets not knowing that the Lakers could easily take the 7th seed from us and we'd end up playing OKC instead.

Lose this game and the Kings and Suns game would become MUST WIN games. Accidentally lose one of those, we fall to 8th seed. Think about it.

 

Bottom line, we need to win this game.

I get where you are coming from, but right now Nuggets are our Utah Jazz (D-Will & Boozer era) we don't match up well. It was our mistake constantly facing Utah Jazz

OK. I found that caption:

First of all, there are 4 games left to play and it is still early to say which seed we will get in the end. We will probably have to wait til the final two games to know. By then we can decide whether we "want to" or "have to" to lose the final 2. Remember winning a game is not just your one-sided decision, you have to actually defeat your opponent in order to achieve the win. Losing the game is much easier unless your opponent also wants to lose it as well.

Losing this game is not a 100% guarantee that the Rockets will have complete control of which top seed they want to play. Remember other teams are doing or thinking of something like that. Also what if something goes wrong with the games against the kings and the sun's.

In fact, all those top 4 seeds are better than us and are capable to defeat us. Facing the nuggets is not as bad as we think. The only team I think we will have no chances is OKC.
