Hayes defense has been horrible, you can't expect a 6'6 guy to guard a 7'3 player. Also most Centers in the NBA are are over 6'10" at least.

Also Hills defense has been more than solid, it's been the one thing consistent with his game.

Nice that Martin is keeping us in the game with his FTs, but the Rockets depending on the refs to keep sending them to the FT line is a recipe for disappointment.

The refs will swallow the whistles when we need it the most.

consider these games our playoffs ... there's always a chance ... and it's always enjoyable to see the Rockets scrapping their way to wins

If you want to know what a flop is, just type Anderson Varaejo in google and you will find a dictionary thick references on flopping.

Ashamed to admit but that was indeed the nastiest turnover I've ever seen Bud commit :( Threw it right into that Grizzlies' leg, there was zero chance of the ball getting through.

    In other words, he flops.

He knows how to draw contact and embellishes the contact.

if Adelman doesn't let Hill play but for ~5 minutes in the 2nd half we're definitely tanking

Hill should definitly start over Hayes. Hayes's practically usesless now cause his defense has gone down, he's not rebounding, and he's a liability on offense as always. Chance of making the playoffs is slim now, why not give hill a chance to prove himself more and improve?

Kevin uses every (legal) trick in the book to score. Don't worry he's trying to get himeslf hot with those free throws

No not at all, a flop is falling down when a foul has not actually been committed.

"Flop (basketball), a basketball term to describe a feigned foul."

Kevin gets actual fouls by positioning his body such that the defender can't help but foul.

Yep. The Spurs upcoming schedule is so ridiculous we have a chance to make a comeback in the standings.

Stop bashing Hayes like he wants to play the C position, his natural position is PF. The intangible and defense he brings nights in and out are extremely valuable to this team. He's one of the leader for this team. Young Rox look up to him (except for his FT) and he's top three 1on1 post defender in the league for his position. He's forced to start at the 5 because Yao's out. I think he's been performing well all year long. The elbow passes from him got us many points throughout the year. Maybe some team had figured him out by shooting over him but i would take a jumpshots from BIGS rather than having them dunking all over the place.

6 games is going to be hard to make up and thats the distance between us and the Spurs. I thought it was only 3-4 games until I checked the standings. We're going to have to hope for a free fall by SA or Portland to have a shot.

I am loving DM more and more each time J Hill steps onto the court.

If he continues to develop, we may do OK with Scola and him manning the 4.

Portland's played 4 or 5 more games than us. So it's not that bad as long as we keep winning.

You don't have to fall down to flop. Your idea of a flop is narrow, many types of flops.

Martin just knows how to embellish contact to make the refs notice. Sounds like flopping to me.
