Get real, Denver can score but plays absolutely no D. We will score a 110 and limit them to 98.

Rockets winning is not news, dude. Rockets is so good that long winning streak is not something new to reporters. Just relax and have fun watching Rockets blow out more teams.

Nuggets and Warriors appear to be coasting tonight... but can't count out upsets with teams that play no defense.

What happen to Gerald Green, was he even in the building. It kills me seeing no D novak instead of Green.

...and 1 player with double figure rebounds... and he only played about 17 minutes. He also added 4 blocks in that short time.

Deke obviously doesn't replace Yao but it is nothing short of amazing what he can do on the defensive end, regardless of his age.

Just got back from the game. The team needed two easy games two start their run without Yao. The silver lining for having Yao out, is getting to watch Mutombo play. He still has it, his defense and shot blocking are fun to watch.

The young guns have so much energy. This is such a different team from last year. Scola, Landry, Brooks...wow. Lots of fun to watch. The real test will be when we have to face a real oppenent. Memphis really isn't much of a measuring stick right now.

Just some quick thoughts after the game.

That's not true. They can, up to the MLE, since we're and will be over the cap. But if any team offers something over the MLE (not likely but possible), we will lose him.

No team can offer more to him than the MLE because of the Gilbert Arenas rule.

Damn you just gotta love mutombo. YOU GOTTA LUV HIM.

Seriously, Mutombo brings sparks off the bench (not necessarily playing, but cheering), and he also sparks the entire arena up when he blocks.

BTW, did you guys know that about a month ago there was an article on msn about who should and should not retire. Of course, shaq was up there on top for retirement, but guess who was told not to?? MUTOMBO.

I'll be really sad if mutombo leaves the rockets after this year, he just sparks up the team by cheering.

O btw, congradulations to brooksball for being the first to post a negative comment.

Sure we only have one player in double figure rebounding, but the grizzlies have none, and we had 53 rebounds, outrebounding the opponent by an impressive 13

There is little rule in the cba called the gilbert arenas rule. It gives the right to the team that drafts a second round player the option to match any offer a team makes toward said player for 3 years. In addition no team can offer more the the mle.
This was added to the cba because the warrriors wanted to resign gilbert arenas but could not because they where over the cap and the wizards offered more money then the warriors could afford to pay.

In other words Carl is going no where unless he wants to hold out and not sign with any one or the rockets choose to not match another teams offer.
