I love and hate this forum.

I love it for the occasional insightful threads and posts.

I hate it for comments like the one above.

 

i wish would would push for the fast break so much more. try, and if it's not there, pull it out and set it up. but at least press the issue.

 

Its seems like keeping pace with a team like Memphis is a big acomplishment for this team... Last season we blew out opponents like this.... this team's off season is the definition of subtraction with addition

here comes my rant.....

this owner Les has sold out to the chinese. Thats why you see "anta" and peak" signs EVERYWHERE. Battier,hayes, yao, and others have signed with the chinese. I dont see them getting traded.

The owner has chosen $$$ over winning.

if this owner really wanted to win he would have traded tmac for kobe when he had the chance, or yao for kobe. But you snooze you lose.

Mark Cuban loves money and good investments but he will not want yao for dirk. He would rather have the better player dirk and win , instead of trade dirk for yao and lose but get chinese fans. He already tried the chinese root with the first chinese player back in 2000 and it didnt pay off.

heck, i would even trade yao and tmac for dwight. I dont think you guys know good dwight is. Call me an idiot now, but dec 19 you will know the truth.

Buts thats not even the worse part. The worse part about this owner,franchise,and fans on here is that all of you are making battier to be the scapegoat, or alston to be the scapegoat,or aldeman. The real problem is yao getting blocked every game but the rim or by guards...that depletes the moral of the team when they see thier "leader" getting blocked by 6' foot guards..its embarrassing. When I ask girls )who dont really know basketball about the rockets, they say, "oh the rockets have that tall chinese guy who sucks".

Tmac is the problem cuz he always chucks up bricks, and lacks the heart of a champion. Tmac doesnt have the heart of elie or horry or drexler..Its sad that this team will waste 3 more years of life until people finally realize its not the pg,or pf, its yao/tmac.

I dont care if they beat the grizzlies tonight. They will never win a championship. Ive been saying it since 2002, and no one believes me. So far theyve wasted 5 years of non-athletic boring basketball with yao and now tmac injury prone jumpers. Problem is Ive been a rockets fan my whole life so its hard to move on.

 

Both Yao and McGrady made assertive moves to the basket in the last couple of minutes.

Those two guys need to make more plays like that every quarter of every game.
