it is just weird how he gets healthy so suddenly... AFTER having a back spasm. I knew he can play this well, but I thought he would have to ease his way back, his performance just goes up so suddenly the last two games.

Rafer should have shot the open 3.

What he shouldn't have shot is the jumper at the end of the 3rd quarter.

I think hes injury is geniune . nothing sinister is going on behind the scene. from the body language between him and JVG, i gatherd eveeything was smooth and they pretty much agreed to disagree .

As far as I'm concerned, I would perfectly happy not seeing any of them post here again. Most of them added nothing to the GARM discussions, or any of the other topics being discussed on this board. What's sad about the entire situation is that none of them ever seemed to realize that in order to compete for a championship, the Rockets need both Yao and McGrady to be successful, not one or the other. I've never understood the thinking of the YOF or MOFs. Each of the elite teams in the NBA have multiple stars. Why should the Rockets be any different?

I'm not questioning his latest injury. He agree that the back problem is genuine. My point is that it seems as though his problems this season have made him a liability, rather than an asset. I hope that he's able to contribute more once he returns, but it's looking more and more like the Rockets may try to find another solution.

The post should "I agree that the back problem is genuine." Sorry for the confusion.

Juwon in for Rafer after another Rafer miss...

And Juwon strips the ball from Pau on the ensuing possession.

I thought he was starting to get in better condition. once bonzi gets into a match fit body shape, he'll be very, very, very handy.
