Nick Johnson looks like Lin out there sometimes and that's not a good thing. He is a rookie though.

He's the 14th man off the bench. Not worried. With a healthy squad he'd be playing with the Vipers.

I think Nick Johnson has a very polished game. He just needs more time. He'll definitely be a savvier player than Lin though.

    lol

There is a reason why most coaches are reluctant to play rookies much. Johnson comes from a good NBA family and he does have good skills he is raw and being thrown out there against a top team was rough on him. He looks poised and ready to advance further.

Agreed. You can see that he has the tools to be another pesky defender much like Bev. I hope Bev mentors him. Nick would be well served to play with the same mentality Bev does.

We need to be ready for the T-Wolves Friday. They're gonna want a win after being the first team to lose to the Sixers. Will be an easy win if we can keep playing like we did tonight in the first three quarters

Sounds weird but all these injuries, depending on if they come back and stay healthy, are kind of a good thing because all the time our bench guys are getting while we're still winning.

Agreed. Good for everyone except Harden and Ariza, who are getting lots of minutes early.

His athleticism is also really intriguing. That one play tonight where he tried to go up and dunk on someone (but got called for the charge) was ridiculous. That's the kind of athletic play I'd expect to see from DRose or Westbrook.

You have to start wondering if Howard is a detriment against Memphis. Before Dwight got here, we used to have success against this team by just running and gunning and shooting 3s. With Dwight, he wants post ups and that slows the offense down which plays into Memphis's hand. Dwight needs to learn to adjust.

Lose to 76ers is a shame for T-Wolves. They will fight against us with all their strength.

Dude--you're supposed to wish well the former Rockets, not hope they fail! Or, maybe that's just me. I just always find myself half-rooting for Lowry, and Bud, and Lee and Asik, and Lin, whenever I see those guys play. They once wore the red and white, you know.

Anyone on NBA TV comment on the Rockets yet?

Can't wait to hear the Douchebags on ESPN tomorrow...

The 3zaaa triple that made it 68-46 was great. I can't remember who made the 3 before that but it was like the third punch in a combo. Insane.

I been watching NBATV since the end of the game just waiting for ANYTHING. It's been near 2 hours and haven't seen the Rockets Memphis game mentioned ONCE.

I had an evening meeting for our new company Descendent Studios, so had to record this one, was PLEASANTLY surprised at the result - as I just finished the game.

    YES!
