ClutchFans Game Thread: Grizzlies @ Rockets 12/3/2014

Rockets will drop another game to the Grizzlies tomorrow, simply because Dwight isn't comfortable with his female parts.

Oh well, who cares? Home court doesn't mean much when you have real superstars like Dwight who are all in for the team and willing to go all out.

 

Dwight wasn't really a superstar the day he left Orlando, injured himself and became a Laker......

 

You need to cut it out dude. Dwight like Yao and others that are horribly officiated have to overcompensate to keep out of foul trouble or keep from being fouled and getting no call. I think this is what this knee issue is about. Having to stop all that muscular and weight at the drop of hat like no other fairly officiated player ever had to.

 

I think Gasol gets frustrated and does something to Dmo but Dmos get called for the tech or they both get techs. I have these strange premonitions that come out of nowhere. Very strong......

He does need an attitude adjustment. He looks like a troll, here only to stir up trouble with his unwarranted negativism. I doubt he is a Rockets fan, and he probably has never watched a whole Rockets game.

 

Playing Memphis without Dwight or Tjones? With Marc Gasol having one of his best seasons and Zbo as his wing man?

This may not end well...

 

And no PG to slow Conley down. When riddled with injuries great teams survive. I personally am completely OK with a Rockets record of 5-3 without Howard, Jones, Bev and now Canaan. And I see no reason to bring Howard back for this game. It is almost certainly a lost cause.

 

Rockets surprise us all and steal one. Harden goes for 45 points.

 

Howard never plays very well against Memphis anyways. The Rockets will need Harden and someone else to have career nights to win this one.

D-Mo needs to have another big game against an elite big like he did Cousins. He effectively dampened Boogie's offensive advantage with his 21 points. He needs to cancel out or dampen one of the Grizzlies big's buckets tonight with another big scoring game.

Then of course, Harden needs to go on a tear.

If D-Mo and Harden can combine for 50+ points, we have a chance to steal this one.

Sure would be nice to see these 2 teams go at it 100% healthy and 100% rested. Looks like we won't to see that since TJ won't be back for the 12/26 match up, and the March match up is a back-to-back for us.

Just how it is. Mavs play us 4 times and each is a back-to-back for them if I remember right from the Dirk quoted gripe.

 

Only way this is a win is if Harden goes into God mode and the Rockets shoot 50%+ from 3.

 

Not going to win. No interior defense. Zbo/Gasol will eat us for dinner.

 

This. I don't feel like Dwight is a big difference-maker when it comes to Memphis anyway. Pretty sure it was Memphis last year w/ no Gasol when he got benched down the stretch in favor of DMo, who got us back into the game and to the W.

 

This will end poorly...

 

Harden goes into Tezcatlipoca-mode, gets 43-7-7, and Rockets win by 10+.

 

He was benched in favor of Asik, but yeah.
