I'll stick by what I said a couple weeks ago. Give Van Gundy til about mid-January to see if he can turn this around with a (somewhat)healthy T-Mac. But if the Rockets are 8 or more games under .500 at that point like they are now, get rid of him, tank the rest of the season, and reload for next year.

There's absolutely no excuse for the Rockets to be THIS bad even with T-Mac out of the lineup. Plenty of teams around the league have been able to survive and even thrive in spite of injuries. 4-12 a fifth of the way through the season(yes, we're already that far in) is beyond pathetic.

don't give Yao credit. He made those baskets because he is tall. He looks so freaking clumsy and dumb out there. He is not taking it hard to the basket like he has this season.

This game is drawing the line in the sand, it's clear we have problems and the Rockets can either address the problems or burry their heads in the sand and keep telling themselves it will get better.. I have a feeling that player movies will be made, but do we really think CD will have the same luck he had last year?? I don’t even know where to point the finger, so in my mind ANY change is a good change..

What kind of preposterous logic is that? Rockets just suck.

well I cant lie. the lottery is what we need right now.
some youth. some hustle. some fire. something just like Luther.
Yao is too slow to show it. T-Mac is too injured/or not 100% enough to show it.
There is still no (hustle) leader on that floor. Like Barry or Sura was last year.
No one to give these guys some adrenaline. No one to make these guys want to give 110%.
They look like they quit halfway through the 1st quarter.

Do you think the JVG bootcamp is making their old @$$' too tired to play games???

Im not upset about the loss.
I was surprised to hear the Grizz had the 2nd best record.
    But the effort...
    Very Very dissapointing.
    :(

I only give an A+ to:
    Head
    Bowen (for what he's worth)
    and
    Moochie
T-Mac gets some slack cause he is injured.
And Yao, he is going to have to get more agressive on rebounds, and when he gets close to the basket on offense. Throw it down big man!!!

This team needs Dennis Rodman. He would have given a punch to everybody in the locker room.

it will be too little too late. Tmac is just off, i expect him to take over. Yao is just playing like a puss again. Yao shows up for every other game. Swift sucks also.

JVG is obviously taking this very lightly. YOu see him clapping and trying to encourage his team from the sidelines. What the heck?

I do, too. Can't say they'll win, but if they lose, it'll only be by 5 or less.

that's unfortunate, because I've always thought he would be great for the rockets.

Magic Johnson never QUIT on Paul WESTHEAD. He didn't like playing for him, and forced him out... but he still gave 110% on the court if you watched him.

If you're going to try to make a point, at least get your facts straight, and the coaches name right.

This is a board...Say whatever you want about the Rockets thats how we vent here... I get so sick of the posts that tell you what you can and cannot say...We all love the Rockets or we wouldn't waste our time watching them and posting at the same time... If you think JVG should be fired then say it..If you think Yao for Camby is a good trade then say it..Just like me all of us who are mad and post complaints about the Roxs will be the same ones who post the happy stuff when they win but I'm sorry The Rockets are just not trying..there I said it and I feel good .... :D

Whats the lowest points scored by Rockets in their history? They might have a good chance of breaking it tonight. If they do, forget the Big Mac. Everyone who sat there to watch it better get free Happy meals for life.
