In games like this I wonder why Lonnie Baxter doesn't play. I mean, I know he's "hurt" and all, but we are getting no production out of 36 minutes so far at the 4. Even if he's limping he can't do any worse.

 

How do you figure? Just because he has 17 points? Yao is a pansy and way ineffective. He gets intimated by fronting defenses and never sustains his intensity to get rebounds and jump Higher to the basket to DUNK!!!!

He has gotten blocked quite a bit tonight and that just makes it even more embarrassing. Stop giving Yao credit, I'm sick of watching him be so soft and having his butt handed to him every game.

I don't hate him. I Just think he sucks. Our roster really took a nosedive in the offseason.

and Yao is just too soft. I wish the coaching staff would just shoot down whatever confidence he's got left and tell him that he sucks because he gets blocked by dang'ol guards

yes i know that. But if you look at his play in the flow of the game..complete garbage and PANSY. just agree and move on.

You way out of track. Rockets suck big time but just blaming Yao only exposed that you are a YOH. He is shooting over 50% and gets 21 points and 5 aggressive rebounds. That look fine with me. Why not blame TMAC or JVG first.

If you expect Yao gives you 30/20 to save Rockets' ass every night, you must have eaten some crack.

 

I can hardly wait to see how the "sunshine" posters spin this one. How will they flip a heartless, gutless, clueless performance like this into a "hopeful, early season, adjustment, just getting to know you game." The Grizzlies almost totally rebuilt their team, many new faces out there and they look like a well-oiled machine. Why them and not the Rockets?
