That transition bucket was amazing. The Asik to Lin to Harden where the ball didn't even touch the floor. Thing of beauty. Need to see more of that.

New to CF, I'm more of a Spurs fan, but have been following the Rockets closely this year because of League Pass. This years squad is by far the most exciting team in the NBA. I think over time, a new big three will emerge in Harden, Lin, and Asik. IMO, Asik is the most underrated big man in the NBA right now. His offensive game is far surpassing expectations and he has demonstrated an ability to finish around the rim. He has shown flashes of a serviceable post-up game as well. To me, he is a top 5 center in the NBA only behind Dwight Howard, Andrew Bynum, Noah, and Varejo. I would still take him over Howard and Bynum though. Dwight has impressive block numbers, but if you watch Lakers games, you can see that he puts very little effort on defense. Especially on help defense where he just seems to allow penetrating guards to score to easily. Although I like Harden and Lin for their contributions on offense, they let their assignments blow by them far too often. Without Asik in the middle, this team would give up far too many points to be 6th in the west right now. I can't say enough about Asik, he's definitely a lock for most improved player. That outlet pass to Lin in the Grizz game, WOW.
