ClutchFans Game Thread: Grizzlies @ Rockets 11/9/2004

Yeah, this game scares me for the same reason. But it's definitely a game the Rockets should win.

 

Where is MemphisX these days. Hiding and hopeless? Last year, no one paid attention to the Grizz team and they had a nice, little run. This year, they are exposed hard and early.

As long as Yao doesn't run into the foul trouble, we will get a win! The refs better think twice before they blow the whistle in front of 18,003 (+?) fans

 

A tie occurs, both teams decide to reconcile their differences, hug and dance merrily into the sunset, holding hands.

 

Loss. Rockets won't be ready to match Memphis' intensity and will be behind most of the game.

 

Blowout win. Rockets winning by 15-20 after three quarters. Scrubs play final 4-5 minutes.

C'mon Rockets, a blowout win is what you need.

 

Didn't get to see the Yao game on Saturday night so he better step it up again, I mean it was cool to see Tracy take over on Friday night but a tag team effort would of been much better. I'm thinking the Grizzlies come out fighting but the Rockets come back again and win in regulation sending MemphisX into an even longer hibernation.

 

Grizzlies will fight as hard as they can. They need this win. So, I'd say we will lose this game unless Yao can score more than 25 points.

if Rox can beat Grizz in Memphis, they can sure do that again at home

This game is going to be a test for JVG, we will see if he can make plays that could get the ball into hands of Yao.

After read your instructions to downtown stadium, I admire Yaoming's driving skill as well as his touch.

 

You will hate him more after he block Yao two more times and steal two more times from Yao tomorrow.

I am really disappointed in Yao this year. He still does that ugly under basket layup in stead of dunk and still as slow as my grandma!

 

i don't think he can be any faster at 7'6" unfortunatly he can't do anything about that.

As far as him getting blocked your right..until he learns to keep the ball up high when he gets it he is going to get stripped and blocked a lot by smaller people....

 

Van Gundy figures out how to use Yao and get Yao involve. T Mac just being TMac. Everyone else steps up and make plays, play tight D. Limit Memphis to just 32% shooting and 15% 3 point shooting.

You really miss the Sat game...that was some tag team between Yao and Tmac. They were dominating....
