Yeah, I agree with you, ideally Lawson will be needed to work or houston has no shot of winning with other members. On paper it looks great, unfortunately nothing has worked so far.

 

The playoffs??? We won't make the playoffs if he plays like that and we play him 35 minutes. He keeps playing like this Morey is going to trade him, we don't have time for his piss poor defense.

If Lawson was the reason McHale was fired, I'd sign him to a max extension as soon as I could.

And give him a few million in hush money under the table.

Great but none of them are especially proficient scorers so who does he dish to?

 

Just got home and looked at the box score. How are we down by 3? Everybody looks to be having an awesome game

Watching Lawson reminds me of watching V-Span in his year with us. Clear chemistry issues, and the coaches aren't helping. Seems the Rockets have given up on the Lawson integration efforts. Don't half ass it at this point. Play him 35 minutes or just bench him completely. He is not a 15 minute player. He is a tempo controller, not a spark plug. He needs to play heavy minutes or he is worthless. Stick to Jet and Bev.

Lol, good point too, with what this team has shown so far other than Harden and Capela (maybe a healthy dwight too), they'd probably be better trading most of the team...... It's like they're so bad, I wonder sometimes if I'm still watching an nba team.

 

Harrell has a good post up game..feed him. Ariza is good at cutting to the basket. Pick and roll alley ops for Howard.

Cool story bro. Guy tanks the season and you are just happy that your favorite person to be discontented about was fired. Gotta love people who put their bull **** agendas over the teams they claim to love. Last year must've been hard to watch with all that success from a person you hate so much.

 

Ok so here are some of the problems - Lawson is 5'11 so to lob the ball up he needs to have a lot of space on his man or beat them off the dribble early. He was an excellent bounce passer in Denver to Faried. As we have seen - Dwight doesn't do bounce passes. He only catches lobs.

Second problem, the offense really doesn't move. TJ was calling a play with the ball earlier in the second quarter. When TJ has to call an offensive play, we have trouble.

I've always been a TJ supporter and believed that he is an asset to this team. Now I'm really wondering whether he will fit better with another team - we need rebounders big time. If our defense sucks the way it does, we need EVERY freaking ball that the opposing team misses.
