In Cali right now I have NBALP I have watched all Roxs games this YR I am thankfull for that and not being In Iraq..... Anyways V-span geart heart but just play your game take it to the hole pick and pop and dish... He did a good job out there tonite Gay blocked his shoot but it happens if you played ball before youknow I am not mad about that but I am mad about him not playing his game F*** JVG get him out of your head You think MANU had GREG P on his mind when he takes over games by pickand roll and slashing to the goal naww just play your game ... Anyone notice JVG Scream at V-Span during the timeout.... Sometimes I dont think JVG knows he players background.... WE won that is what really matters I am glad for that Yao is going to be MVP....

Howard strained an abdominal muscle and there is NO WAY you are going to put Novak on Hakim Warrick or Swift. Padgett was having a hard enough time guarding Warrick and he's at least got a little strength and experience. Novak would've been eaten up out there.

Padgett wouldn't normally play this many minutes if not for the injury to Howard and the foul trouble of Hayes. And before tonight's bad shooting, Padgett was hitting 40 percent from behind the arc. He had a bad night, but has been a consistently good shooter from the three point line.

Now, you can make an argument about Novak playing minutes when Brian Cardinal was out there, but not against Warrick, Roberts, Swift or any other athletic big man. Novak just doesn't have the strength or athleticism to stay with those guys and he isn't a good rebounder.

I doubt it. He'll play again next game. He had a bad game. V-Span was quoted recently as saying that in the Greek league, teams pass the ball 7 or 8 times before taking a shot and he's not used to not seeing the ball very often. That's the NBA and he'll need to get used to it. He hoisted a couple of ill-advised three's because he got impatient and he tried to throw a pass through traffic. Those are the rookie mistakes he'll need to clean up before he gets extended minutes, but he'll be back. The Rockets are short on guards anyway.

Well, they didn't and it doesn't matter, so this is irrelevant.

The lowly Grizzlies had a 6 point lead on us in the second quarter and were within 10 with 3 minutes to go. It isn't like we were blowing them out of the building. They'll get time, but we're not talking about guys drafted at the top of the first round here. They slid because they have deficiencies and they need time to learn in practice and in limited action on the floor.

Look around at teams that lose every year. Consistently, they are teams forced to play a lot of younger players. If we were 4-9, it would be one thing. But, we are winning.

actually...you dont know much about Manu's early years in the NBA do you?

Manu about drove Pop batsh*t...adn Pop is just as harsh about mistakes as VG is.

    this game was on KNWS

there is a very minimal pre and postgame segment (less than 5 minutes pregame and less than 10 minutes post....so for KNWS games I leave them with the game. FSN is the one that does 30 minutes pre and post.

In his blog on tonight's game, Blinebury repeatedly raves about the little things Battier does for the Rockets. It gives a pretty good idea of Battier's "intangibles" people talk about.

Click on the links just above the date to read the rest of the blog.

Look, it's been said over and over again, if coaches don't chew you out for dumb mistakes then that means you're not worth their time and your ass is just one foot out the door.

Plus, if you ever watch the games since JVG has been here, Yao has been screamed at by Jeff the most without question.

Plus, Pop is not afraid to embarrass Manu on and off the court for dumb mistakes.

Remember the great 13 point comeback by Tmac, there was a play when Manu made a careless pass and Pop almost tore his head off for that play.

Here's the vid- (the dumb pass starts at the 16 second mark so it's early in the video)

Marv: Here comes Mcgrady......no timeouts remaining.....Mcgrady for the wiinnnnnn.......
    YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

You know, one of the greatest things about that video is the little gasp Steve Kerr lets out as McGrady sticks the dagger in with the last 3. It sounds like the knife hit Kerr's lung and all he can do is whimper out a little "umph". hehehehe

One more game and Chuckie will be back at the top, having played in almost 50% less games than everybody else. No matter now you look at it, that is astounding.
