really? I see the opposite. They look pretty fired up to me. At least the starters do.

I thought they looked great considering the new faces and guys coming back from injury. I've never seen McGrady be able to be effective without having wear himself down to nothing doing it. Meanwhile, Rafer can focus on getting the ball up the floor and keeping his man out of the paint on the other end. No more forced jumpers. Thank you for coming to Houston, Ron.

I know they look rusty and out of sync but everyone has to be encouraged by the defensive intensity early on and also the fact that none of the guys had wear themselves out to keep the score close. The best part was remembering that we don't even have Shane back yet.

Honestly, is the start of the season, relax a bit at least. Things will come together, THEY ALWAYS come together. This Rockets team is just known for slow starts every dam season.

hopefully those jumpers will start to fall, because for him those are easy shots. but agressivness, that is what he and the whole team is missing

I'm not a pessimist but it's quite obvious how much speed, length and height disturbs us. Warrick,Arthur and to a certain extent even Gasol are scoring inside and their outside shooting despite it's erratic nature continues to disturb us.
McGrady has shot a bit better but he continues to take challenged shots which makes me mad.
Barry is being exposed because of his slow legs,Head is still the same guy and our offensive execution is pathetic with some exceptions. Yao and Artest have been our best guys so far.

Also, they haven't really played a full game together, yet.

Clearly the second unit without a pg struggled. Luther just can't be the pg and hopefully AB can get back soon.

Luther, Chuck, and Landry shouldn't be on the court together. Neither can create a shot or a play.

4 fouls in the 1st half? We need to be more aggressive on the defensive end.

They appear rusty and out of sync, that is to be expected. But the Grizzles are playing with bit more intensity, and that is not expected. Anyway, Artest is going to be huge for this team. I am encouraged with TMac's freedom of movement. Yao looks slow, but that's not new. I think Brooks is really going to be important, he is missed. Rafer looks like Rafer. Scola is missing shots he normally makes. Landry, nothing spectacular so far. Head is scary running the point, not good.
