There are no easy shots at all in this offense

Steven Adams is listed at 6’11. Sengun looked to be a couple inches shorter to me.

you give him as many shots as he wants wide open. Bari got ZERO shots in the first qtr. so he started to take bad shots because he knew he wasn't going to get it.

what a fun game…I’m so glad I went

This team has definitely improved from what it was last year. There’s a new type of swag. It’s a shame our schedule is so brutal to start the year. The young core is so promising. Great bounce back game from Jalen Green

    now on to Morant…

    GAWD DAMN

This dude is on pace to be the next face of the league. He has the charisma that guys like Giannis and Luka don’t. Idk if tonight was his career high, but he had the crowd in awe all night. When he glassed Jalen Green’s layup in the 4th I yelled out “OH SH*T!!” Next time Memphis is in town, I’ll be there again for sure.

I love the effort and energy the Rockets have shown to start the year. They make a ton of mistakes, but it is what it is. There was a point in the 4th where Sengun had Banes on him and was begging for the ball, but he got looked off. He was visibly frustrated, and I don’t blame him…gotta be able to recognize a mismatch

all in all, this was the most exciting game I’ve been to post-Harden, and I hope they keep up the fun play and continue to remain competitive

Looking back on it now - if only the Rockets had tactically stopped Morant on that 1 play he'd only have had 47.

He can score against starting defenses he just needs to be given the chance. You guys have already decided that he is a career backup, its really silly.

Alp was exact same height as Adams lol, Clarke is listed at 6’9 and Alp was clearly taller.

Alp has shorter legs and a long torso and neck. He’s still 6’10/6’11. His standing reach might not be great

He was alright against Atlanta. Yes he had 6 turnovers, but if you are going to play through him, you have to expect nights like that.

He took plenty of shots. He doesn’t get to eat more until he proves he can cook.

    Did Bruno get hurt?

Barely played and we needed him during that stretch with Bari at the 5.

We need a proper starting SF, either trade Gordon or let Eason start there.

Jabari’s shooting and Jalen being passive in the 4th hurt our chances to win this game. I’m looking for Porter and Jalen to play hard tomorrow not sluggish against the Bucks. I hope Gordon does not play and give those minutes to Josh and Tari.

Funny, you're the guy telling me to stop caring about a trivial argument for internet points and pops back in to the thread after the game is over to continue it lol.

I understand your initial point was bad and isn't how actual NBA teams think of defense but just accept it was a silly point and move on.

It's not all about height, Steven Adams has a 7'5 wingspan compared to Sengun's 7 feet, so every rebound Sengun has to jump higher. It adds up. Eventually Sengun will get stronger and be better positioned for loose balls and rebounds so his lack of length can be hidden.

There's a reason why eason gets so many tips and rebounds, he has like a 7'4 wingspan or somethiing

Rockets games been bland at TC and not recommended since Harden left and operation tank ensued, but this year’s team is different

Bruno was out with a sore knee. We didn’t have another option other than playing Sengun the entire second half.

Tari Eason has a 7’2 wingspan. Alp has a 7’1 wingspan, if not longer now. He has grown.

I agree with you though, but dudes act like he’s super undersized and super unathletic, when in reality it’s not true
