ClutchFans Game Thread: Grizzlies @ Rockets 1/24/2014

Memphis has essentially added Gasol and Courtney Lee to their roster since the last time we faced them. Will be a tough game, especially if TJ is still out.

 

Trap the bears today and roast them tomorrow! Double Double You coming up!

i really hope zbo gets in foul trouble with some harden cheap calls.

 

ah hell. Ever since I saw Bowen on the Sac bench the other night, I think of him every time I see Dmo now. weird.

Those two losses are extra heartbreaking

 

I hope Jones can go tonight. As far a playing D on Zbo, I think Dmo's D on him was better than Jones. Hopefully Dmo can stay out of foul trouble tonight.

REALLY tough game tonight

gotta get out and run early and get a big lead otherwise were in trouble

 

Wow. Before POR and SAC, Rockets only had 7 victories (7-10) against the entire West outside of the SW. We pretty much beat everyone else except those 2 divisions. Rockets are now 9-10 in that area.

 

Let's be honest, if we'd known during training camp that the Rockets would be within one victory of being 30-15, I think most of us would have been delighted. That's a terrific record, any way you slice it.

LMAO. Come on man. Why even bother being a member here if you're not watching any of the Rockets games? Jones/Dwight couldn't do **** against Zach (something like 16-18 points and 16 rebounds in like 2 Qs), then DMo came in and shut ZBo down for like 5-6 points for the rest of the way.

 

Does it matter? We are still number 5 in West and 16-12 against the West. And FYI, Denver (57-25) and Clippers (56-26) both had great regular season records last year. And you know what happened >>>>First round exit, coach fired.

 

Just be happy your at the dinner table in such a tough conference. Can we improve? Of course! Its so easy for us fans to be greedy and want more from the team we totally don't deserve.

 

This actually just occurred to me, great post. Dmo's D on him was the difference last game.

 

Yes, but T. Jones was huge in the 1st quarter getting rebounds, layups, and blocking shots. And he was the only one playing with energy after beating the Spurs the night before. Someone needs to step up tonight.
