Gordon is playing, and your idea is bad, and you should feel bad.

If Gordon doesn't play today, we're going to get rocked. If Gordon does play today, the game will still be close since we don't have Capela back yet. Let's go Rockets *clap clap*

Very important game. Kind of a heat check for us.
I know we're without Capela and Gordon, and playing against a team that is built to match up against us. But even more so I would love to see us putting a real fight, especially defensively.

Memphis and Utah are similar teams that can give the Rockets problems with their half court defense and size in the middle (rebounding).

Would really like to see the Rockets make a statement in this game. They need to win these games on their home court.

It would be really nice to see the Rockets get hot from 3 early and force Memphis to play out of their game, trying to catch up to the Rockets 3ptrs.

I got to sit behind the Rockets bench when they played in Atlanta during the Yao/Francis/Mobley years. It was an AMAZING experience. You could see all of the court, no problem. But also got to hear all sorts of details, players talking back and forth. Make eye contact with them, giving them nods of approval. Just very cool! If I had the chance and means I would absolutely do it again.

Eric Gordon will play in the game, but his toe is still hurting. It will be interesting to see how it effects his game. I am guessing it will limit his dribble drives because explosion off that foot might be an issue. But his jumper should be ok. Needs to be wet!

Hope we rest EG tonight, this isn't the playoffs. We need the man healthy.

Play him tonight, get the win, and then give him Sunday and Tuesday off against the Nets and Heat. The Pelicans went into Brooklyn and won last night without Anthony Davis. We can win there without Gordon.

Ugh. I don't like players playing through injuries. It's only gonna be trouble in the long term.

No. I think it's only us and Golden State remaining who can make that claim.

I'd let him play but just limit the minutes. If it's going to be a lingering thing he should get used to how it feels to work through it. Definitely wouldn't put him out there for 30 minutes though.

I'm pretty sure he can 'toe the line'
Just hope coach doesn't look like a 'heel' if he gets re-injured
Pretty much a 'shoe-in' to help us win though

This is going to be a tough game. Memphis has beaten Golden State twice and right now we don't have size to match up with them. We're going to need to be hot from downtown to win.

We have to send Memphis a message. They feel they can coast through the regular season, beat the best teams when they play, and then make a surprise in the playoffs. If they continue to beat GSW, Spurs and Us like that, they will have a point. We have to stop that narrative tonight!

I rather have EG sit out and heal than having a chance of being re-injured
