I know it will be an unpopular opinion here, but to me the refs did us a major solid in that second half last night. There were a ton of opportunities for loose ball fouls, embellished screens, and almost none of them got called against us. It will not be this way again. The Rockets will lose both games in LA if they played the way they did last night, Chris Paul or not.

Moral of the story: Rockets need to start making shots. Jones and Brewer need to stop blowing open layups. Josh Smith needs to uncouple his game from his menstrual cycle. And as hard as it is for Clutchfans to believe, so does James Harden. We have the talent, but not the composure. Even though we were saved from doom by the outcome of the game last night, things still aren't looking very rosy from here onwards.

Ariza was Un-freaking-believable on defense tonight. Dude is a swiss army knife on D.

Great game last night! Sat in section 416, the crowd was great! Got to win some stuff before the game outside the TC. It was worth the 5 hour trip! Go Rockets!!

Fell asleep and didn't watch since the match is at 5am here in Europe but happy with the result.
I don't care one bit and neither should anyone else here about the FTs. The Clippers whine about everything all the time. The refs themselves have already begun to tune them out or getting pissed off at them.
As for Barnes he is a known piece of **** and I hope that an official apology is demanded out of him. And the NBA fine him. Also Harden will be so pissed off and that is good for the Rockets. Go humiliate them in their own arena Harden!

It's all right being a tough dirty guy on the court but taking cheap shots at Harden's mum is way too low. Only Barnes can stoop to the lowest form of mankind.

    Anyway much needed win.

I feel confident we can one if not both games in LA if we come out like we did in that 4th quarter, CP3 or not.

Here is the deal. Even if CP3 comes back, he is never going to be close to 100%. A 70% CP3 is still better than the corpses of Austin Rivers. However a 70% CP3 also takes away a lot from Griffin so it kind of balances out to a certain level.

Anyone who complains about the free throw disparity didn't watch the game. They were hacking with reckless abandon. Probably 30-40% of those were "Hack-A" fouls.

I just hope this doesn't turn into a Jazz-like series, where they foul so much the refs forget what a foul is supposed to look like.

I'm actually not sweating Paul. The key is to not let Griffin go Wilt on us like he did in the first 6 quarters and to hold their role players in check. Notice how when we controlled Crawford, Reddick, and Barnes in the 2nd half last night, the Clippers were suddenly beatable?

We can let Griffin and Paul get theirs(although not to the degree we saw in the 1st half yesterday), but we have to do a good job on the rest of the team. In the last series, when the role players and bench for the Clippers didn't have huge games, the Spurs won.

We've have to beat the Clippers and Grizzlies beat the Warriors. Clipper and Warriors are by far my 2 most hated teams. If we don't win it all, these two cannot win it!!! Cavs, Bulls, Wiz, Hawks, Grizz, if not us then one of them has to win it.

I need to compile a list of all the people who said Harden is a quitter and put them on ignore.

I'm sure we all know the defensive scheme for the Clippers is to double team Harden on the perimeter and make him give up the ball. He's done a pretty good job of recognizing where the outlet pass should be on the double-team and towards the end I liked when he would cut immediately after passing.

He's not trying to go Kobe mode and jack up shots 1v2. Yes, he has had some careless turnovers that drive me crazy but saying he is a quitter is ridiculous.

this isn't actually happening as much as people make it out to be. there have been so many moments where he's been guarded straight up by jj and barnes. kill them! especially jj. theres no reason he should settle and take fade away step back jumpers on him. great player but his aggressiveness in the playoffs needs to be more consistent. not just from time to time.

I don't know how I stumbled and fell to this "call out":p

NOBODY respects that type of talk, but again, Matt Barnes has to be taken with a grain of salt. He does all of Clips' dirty work. He's their resident "enforcer."

Look, just think of him has a WWE wrestler with some stupid "agenda" or "show" he has to follow.

    He's a clown.

As a person, off the court, he's not a bad guy. Spent time with him on a few occasions in Phoenix.

DUring this series, I despise him. But he's doing what Doc wants.
