Roxs need to have good solid wins over the next two, clips and hornets. I think they need to really build some steam up.

I will go as far as to say that this week is a bigger week for them than last week!

Yao will probably have foul trouble again (He shouldn't get out and help defend guards too much).

Magette could torch his man. Need Spoon to play well.

    Final: An OT win.

Have to be a little worried about this one. Do the Clippers possible have some purple back up uni's they could play in? Maybe that way the Rox would think they're playing the Lakers instead and have that intensity they seem to forget when playing inferior teams.

I still predict victory, but it won't be easy.

    Rox...89
    Clips...80

Dude, I 'm not playing in tonights game, so I can be as overconfident as I want. I am going to not worry about the clippers for the rest of the day.

BTW, the Rox, for the most part, have TCB'd against bad teams this year, that's why our record is better than last years. THere's no home loss to Miami, no loss to Cleveland, no blowout to the hawks, no getting swept by the Knicks to point to this year.

I perdict the rockets winning by 14 points. Steve has 16 pts 7 rbs. and 5 ast.
Yao has 46 pts 12 rbs and a block. Cat has 24 pts. JJ in double figures.
and I predict someones gonna reply with this post to show how correct I am.

    HOUSTON 94
    CLIPPERS 80

If SF3+CAT avoid unforced TOs and let MAGGETTE have foul trouble, then ROX would win easily

Clippers are struggling recently with a bad 3-14 recond on the road. We should win this game if only we don't underestimate them.

BTW, will Piatkowski show up against his former team?

Pike come off bench with 5 3's to kill Clipper in 3rd quarter, then a blowout win:

well - Q is questionable for the game. Without him, the Clippers are very short-handed. Cato will play bigger minutes guarding Brand, and JJ will have to cover Magette - but that will leave Cat. Steve, and Yao open for blocks and steals galore !

As long as the Rox don't play down to the Clips level - it should be a grind-it-out-pull-away-in-the-fourth WIN for the good guys.

...of course "the Hobbit" aka Marco Jaric will go for 18/8/7 against SF3 !

People here confused this year's team with the LAST year's. This year, the Rockets have been more consistent than last year. They always seem be able to beat the weaker team, lose to the better team. Other than the lose to the Hawks, the Heats, we didn't have much "let down" this season.

I'd say a big win tonight,

    Rockets: 108
    Clippers: 92

    "a game that doesn't matter..."

    yeesh.

I thought they were all pretty important right now. Luckily the Rockets seem to think so too.

DD displaying a little ray of sunshine!? Good lord...

I personally am looking to be quite thankful as I pop open some Lonestar and prepare to watch an asswhooping.

    This is a must win.

Let me see, 16+46+24+10 (double figures)=96
Our big four has at least 96 points, AND

    We win with 94 points:eek:

I can see how correct you are even before the game:)
