She looks pretty good but look at who she is sitting next to. No offense to that guy but the out of shape college slacker look can make a lot of people look attractive. Lets see Ms. Manfull next to one of the Power Dancers. ;)

My apologies for my occasional being an occasional sexist pig and to out of shape college slackers. Hell I was one of those not that long ago.

If that pic is an indication, then at least face wise, she's definitely better than the power dancers.

    No wonder Yao shoot 4/12.

Seriously, this happened on 4 or 5 of his misses. Kaman even admitted to the hackfest after the game.

The Clippers game is a good example of why we might want to keep Steve and Yao together. Yao wasn't at the top of his game, and Francis was able to pull up the slack. If we can see that kind of thing consistantly that will be a solid nucleus.

Yao should've tried a left hand hook shot in that situation. would've been unblockable.

Oh goodness. You don't even know which stats are relevant.

You know what precisely that means? It means that when Steve plays abnormally well, the team is likely to win. Yay!

Unfortunately, that doesn't speak to the level of invovlement of Steve on the offensive end that benefits the Rockets most.

That stat actually hurts your case, as it's indicative that Steve shoots badly too often.

Sad, sad, sad. Can't even interpret data.

Haven, you can say "sad, sad, sad" all you want, but you're caught in your own web. In our other-thread discussion, you wanted "empirically determinative" evidence that Steve playing well can be a factor in Rocket victories. So someone gives you a stat saying that when Steve shoots well, the team is 11-1. 11-1 is no fluke. That is statistically significant.

As for "That stat actually hurts your case, as it's indicative that Steve shoots badly too often," I can't believe that you seriously don't see that is COMPLETELY the point. I have a suspicion you're just refusing to give in on a point here.

If you could show me ANY stat -- not just you saying that the stats exist, mind you -- that refutes my claim, I'll admit I could be wrong. Show me something that says the team never wins when Steve is on his game and Yao isn't. Instead you just have a hissy fit and say, "But the evidence is there! Anyone can see it! Sad, sad, sad."

Hmmm... why does an image of Bill Walton suddenly come to mind. ;)

11-1 when Steve shoots more than 50%? The Rockets have played 63 games. What 11-1 means is that Steve is the laggard on the offense.
